COMPACT REMOTE HEAD WITH MOTION CONTROL OPTION
In cooperation with Georg Thoma, a new generation of remote heads comes to life.
Equipped with a high-sensitivity low noise sensor, the compact camera head with 20x zoom
is a universal tool for high-quality HD productions up to 3G.
The QUBE:CAM offers all functions of a conventional broadcast camera and has been
designed to operate in normal and upside down positioning. The optional motion-control
feature allows to store positioning parameters in order to recall identical framing.
Integration of the system in a typical broadcast environment is easy thanks to standardized
connectors and protocols. It supports RS485-connections and any IP infastructure for remote
control, ext. Genlock works too. Optionally, the standard copper outputs for up to 3G can
be extended with a fibre link.

operate the implemented colour correction from the distance, e.g. the vision control inside the OB truck. Alternatively,
a separate RCP panel is available which can control all video parameters even for multiple cameras. Wherever a discreet
remote camera solution is needed, such as at commentary positions, player‘s areas or at a racetrack, the QUBE:CAM is

The modular design of the Head S and M provides a wide variety of operational options in a very cost-effective way. Only
an Allen key is needed to dis-/assemble the 2-axis-system at location and scale it in an optimum way to the actual needs.
Additionally the remote heads can be downsized or extended by the use of the spacer-tube-technology. All components
including the connectors are weather- and waterproof according to IP65 standard. The M version can additionally be fitted
with a 3rd axis..

The modular designed Thoma Motion Remote-Head is one of the most modern and flexible camera-remote-systems
worldwide. By the means of simple tools, it is easy to adjust the size to the actual requirements. Depending on the
model, lighweight MiniDV cameras or heavy 50kg studio or even film systems will do the smooth move. The system can
be mounted both in L- or U-shape, depending on the required payload. The protection level is IP66, so outdoor usage
is always safe. Lenses with servos will be directly controlled or THOMA-Film- and Video-lens-motors will help out if they
are mechanical only. The Remote-Heads do fine on a tripod and even better on a crane or dolly.

The SPEED:CAM is the high speed tracking system of the TV SKYLINE family. It offers stunning
dynamism for an extremely wide range of applications thanks to its impressive acceleration

The rail profile is easy to assemble and track lengths of over 300 m are no problem. Powerful
servomotors rated between 750 W and 15000 W drive the cable winch.
Self-running option
Various camera types can be used on the dolly, either cable-connected or wireless. The
userfriendly control software makes it easy for the operator to adjust the system to any
environmental situation. The system has been certified by the German Technical Inspection
Agency (TÜV).
The SPEED:CAM system runs on a narrow-gauged rail profile, especially designed to persist
demanding forces. Mounting is easy and the rails can be fixed on truss systems, concrete
constructions and even at places where space is limited. Installations based on curved tracks,
like in athletic stadiums or at ice skating arenas, can be accomplished with correlating

The PYLON:CAM 2.0 is a most versatile telescope system for temporary and dynamic high
camera shots. It can be positioned easily even at locations where a crane solution would
simply be oversized. The set-up is not limited to floor operation but can also be mounted
on a wall or on truss systems to get the right shot.
Operation is easy to handle with the TV Skyline controller or even with a foot pedal. The
