Restoring a Camera after update failure
Please try the following steps if your IP Camera fails to complete the update
process:
1. Power cycle the camera and check if it comes back online (may take up to
10 minutes)
2. If the camera is hardwired already, try update again. If the camera is on a
wireless connection, we would recommend connecting it to a hardwired
Ethernet connection before trying the update again.
3. If previous step did not work perform a factory reset by holding in the reset
button for 12 seconds. Please note that all previous configuration settings
will be returned to a default setting.
4. Assuming the camera is still on a hardwired connection (as per step 2
above), wait for camera to come back online and try update again after the
default.
 If you are continuing to try this via wireless connection, you will need
to first re-enroll the camera to the network before attempting the
update.
5. After the update is complete, re-associate the camera with the router or
WAP. Don’t forget to update the user configuration settings when complete.
