Instructions for Downloading PulsePoint Phone App:
iPhone
Open the app, read
the agreement, and
select “I Agree”
Select the
“Settings” Button
Select the
“Follow” button
Select the back
arrow button
Search for the “PulsePoint” app within
the iPhone App Store to download the
free app. The following screen shots
will walk you through the process of
setting up the app for local CPR
notifications.
*Please note you must enable/allow
GPS for this phone app to work
properly. This can be done app
specific.
Open the
“Agencies” option
Select the
“CPR” notification
Select “Add
New Agency”
Type “Saginaw” in
the Search field &
find and select MMR
Read the notification Select “OK” to use
and select “OK”
your current location
Confirm that MMR
and CPR are both
selected
Thank you for
answering the call
to help. You will
receive an alert if
someone in a public
place nearby is in
need of bystander
CPR.
Android Phones
Search “PulsePoint” app in Google Play Store. Download free app.
Accept/deny License Agreement.
Select [Mobile Medical Response, Inc. (MI)] when asked to select an
agency.
Check [CPR/AED] box (first one).
Message appears:
CPR/AED: You will receive a notification in the event your help may be needed. Remember to always
respond in a safe, responsible and respectful manner. Select [OK]
Important Tips!
Must enable/allow GPS for this phone app. This can be done app specific.
Must accept CPR/AED alerts to be a part of our community response team.
Only the CPR/AED alerts work in this area. Structure fires, traffic collisions, etc. are NOT enabled. Selecting
those alert categories during set up will not yield any results.
