Frequently asked questions

The M9019A PXIe Chassis features 16 PXIe hybrid slots, a 4U chassis design, Gen 3 PCIe switching with a two-link (x8, x16) system slot and x8 links to the hybrid/timing slots. It also offers high data bandwidth (up to 24 GB/s system and 8 GB/s slot-to-slot), multi-chassis power-sequencing, front panel external trigger inputs/outputs, and is specified up to 55oC and 10,000 ft operating conditions.

To rack mount the chassis, you need the Y1215A Rack Mount Kit. This kit includes the hardware and instructions for mounting the chassis in a standard 19-inch wide rack. Refer to the instructions provided in the rack mount kit for detailed guidance.

The chassis draws a maximum of 800W at high line AC (220-240V) and 650W at low line AC (100-120V). The total power supplied for all rails must not exceed these limits.

You can update the chassis firmware using the Keysight IO Libraries Suite. Refer to the user guide for detailed instructions on updating the firmware.
