Easy Connections
The JACQUES MIX-4E Audio Mixer is easily integrated into any JACQUES
Intercom System. A typical use for them is mixing the audio Receive
channels coming in from multiple sources in a large building installation.
In Figure 1, FOMs (Fibre Optic Modules) are used to route in the Audio. The
Audio Receive is split from the FOMs and sent into the MIX-4E Audio Mixers.
Because there are six audio channels used, there are two MIX-4E Mixers
needed (4 + 2 channels). The single mixed Audio output from the MIX-4E is
sent straight to the JACQUES Audio Module of the Controller.

Block Diagram
The JACQUES MIX-4E Audio Mixer Module has four individual Balanced Audio
Inputs, each with their own individual faders (located on the front panel).
They are combined together to form
one mixed Balanced Audio output,
which also has its own fader.
These faders are trimpots and
are not normally adjusted, once
set.
