The Network Defaults Jumper is used to correct potential errors in an EDGE EVO and EDGE EVO Solo controller Network Configuration or if the admin password is not available.

To disable the internal optical tamper sensors on the right side PCB (reader interface board), attach a jumper wire from P2 pin 10 to P2 pin 5. To disable the internal optical tamper sensors on the left side PCB (door interface board), attach a jumper wire from P3 pin 1 to P3 pin 2.

You can directly connect the EDGE EVO to the computer with an Ethernet cable. Select Start > Run and enter ipconfig /renew. Then open a web browser and enter 169.254.242.121 into the Address field.
