b-bark iOS Client is an application for iOS devices that allows you to track your dog's location and receive alerts when they bark or move out of a defined area. It can also be used to control the collar's attention LED, play tones, and send SMS commands to the collar.

• b-bark iOS is located on the Apple App Store
• Follow steps below to install b-bark:
1. From your home screen tap the
_
App Store application.
2. Choose Search __ and type
3. When you find b-bark, tap it b-bark.
4. Click
Free
and then Install to download and install b-bark.
5. Enter you Apple id crendentials, if prompted.
• b-bark is now installed in your phone.
• You can launch b-bark by tapping its icon.

Starting b-bark for the First Time
When you launch b-bark for the first time, you are prompted to activate a license.
1. In case you have purchased a b-bark collar with a software license or a separate software license, choose Enter license key and enter the 12 digit license key. To use the free version of the b-bark application, click Cancel at the top of the screen (5).
2. When you have entered the license key, choose Activate.
3. In case you wish to purchase a software license, choose Purchase a license.
4. Enable the switch if you no longer wish to see this screen on startup.
5. Choose Cancel to use the free version.

Starting b-bark for the First Time
The license key is tied to a phone number.
Other b-bark users can track your position and add you as a master for their collars, only once you have verified the phone number.
1. Choose Verify by sending an SMS to send a verification text message.
2. Tap Send.
3. In case your device does not support
SMS sending, you can tie the license key to a phone number by using another device to send the license key in an SMS to number +358 45 7395 0133.

1. Tap the menu button
2. Tap the add button
3. Enter the collar phone number in international format including the country code (e.g. +358 123 4567 where +358 is the country code of Finland). Before adding the collar, make sure it is powered on and has a working SIM card.

4. Tap Add 5. Name the collar and possibly adjust other settings.

1. The added target should now be visible in the target list. You can follow the target on the map by tapping its symbol.
2. Tap > in the target info bar on the map to open the target details.
3. You can also open the target details by tapping the target’s name in the target list.

Remove target from the tracked targets.

Change target’s name. The name and number will be displayed in the target details view.
Choose a symbol for the target
Change the target’s tail length
Change the bark tail color. While the target is barking, the tail is drawn with this color.

Change the bark tail thickness. If the thick tail is enabled, the target’s tail line is drawn thick when the target is barking.
Change the bark limit. Bark will be indicated only if the threshold value is exceeded.

Select the base map you want to use. Only one map can be in use at a time, but Apple
Map is visible until the actual map tiles are loaded. When using My Maps, the Apple
Maps is not displayed at all.

Add, edit or modify My Maps. You can choose your own map as a base map from the base map list just like any other map .

The measurement system used to present measurement units. Automatic chooses the measurement system automatically based on the phone’s regional settings.
The temperature unit used in the weather information in the own details view. Automatic chooses the unit automatically based on the phone’s regional settings. Fahrenheit is automatically used when the country is USA or one of its unincorporated territories.

Select the map cache size.
Indicates how much of the cache is in use. The cache automatically removes the oldest maps to make room for new maps.
Clear the cache. All maps in the cache are removed.
Map data download enabled/disabled. When disabled only the preloaded maps or maps in the cache are used.

The total size of the preloaded maps in the phone.
Removes all preloaded maps from the phone.
List of maps and overlays, which have been enabled and will be preloaded.
Apple Maps are vector maps, which cannot be preloaded using b-bark.
However, the phone operating system has its own caching for these maps.

Lifetime of the preloaded maps. The maps will be automatically removed after they have expired.
Zoom level limit for preload.
Not preloading the mostzoomed-in tiles greatly reduces the amount of time required for downloading.
Start preloading. Preloading may take a long time and it is recommended to plug the phone into a charger until the preload has completed.

4. After choosing a picture, drag the location where you want to add a calibration point to the center of the screen.
5. Tap + button to add a new calibration point.
6. Point the same location from the main map, which you choosed from your own map. You can also write the location manually, use your current location or use a point of interest.
7. Repeat the same procedure for at least two more points. Note that you get the best result by adding three or more points.
You can edit or delete a calibration point by tapping its symbol.

8. When you have added all calibrations points, tap Done.
9. Name the map and tap Save.
10. You can now see your map in the my maps and base maps lists. You can use the map like any other base map.

2. Tap the leftmost toolbar button.
3. Once the map upload has completed a tag appears in the map list. Your friends can use the tag to download the map to their phones.

Application version number and a list of 3rd party licenses and components.
You can change your
PIN code *. Your PIN code is the same to your b-bark application and owned collars. By default, there is no PIN code.
When this options is enabled, the phone display is not automatically switched off in the map view or target details view.
Note that keeping the display on all the time quickly drains the phone battery.

Description
Collar returns one of the following SMS: current: x.y.z

Usage
Convenient way to verify collar firmware version or to check new firmware download status. bbark apn x y z x is APN, y username and z password. If, as usual, the usernamea and the passwordia are not required, you can leave them out from SMS. Example of sending Saunalahti APN: bbark apn internet.saunalahti bbark light x bbark tone x
Turns the attention LED ON or OFF. x is ON or OFF
X is tone-string:
- lower case letters c, d, e, f, g, a, b play the notes from middle C upwards
- upper case letters C, D, E, F, G, A, B play the notes of the next higher octave
- r and R denote a rest
- append # to raise the tone by a half tone
- append a number to specify the tone's length: no number or 4=1/4 note; 2=1/2 note, 1=1/1 note, 8=1/8 note.
Maximum length of the piece is 48 characters, and any illegal character stops the playing at that point. Tempo is fixed at 120 bpm.

Used if b-bark doesn’t automatically find the APN.
GSM LED is pulsating red if APN is not found.

Sends the message denoted by ellipsis back to the issuer of the command when the barking indicator stays above x barks/minute for y seconds.
