eBook Installation Process
To install an eBook on your machine, you have to:
1. Insert the Macmillan CD or DVD – ROM in your system. AutoPlay dialogue box will
appear on your screen.
Note: If the AutoPlay dialogue box is not displayed, you can double click the CD-ROM
Drive icon in My Computer and begin the installation process.
2. From the AutoPlay dialogue box click on Run Setup.exe. Macmillan Setup window
opens.

Note: You can install any one of the following from the Macmillan Setup window:
a. eBook
b. Test Generator
c. SoundSync (For English eBooks only)
3. Click the eBook icon. Install ‘eBook Title’ dialogue box opens. e.g. Install On the
Xpressway 8
4. Click Yes. License Agreement window appears.

5. Select I accept the terms of the license agreement radio button. Then click
Next. Choose Destination Location window appears.
The software will be installed by default in C:\ drive of your computer. However, you
can also click Browse and select your destination location.
6. Click Next. Start Copying Files window appears.

Click Next. Installing window appears.
When the status bar shows the status as complete, Installing support softwares
window appears.

8. Click Next. Installing JRE window appears.
9. After JRE has been installed on your system, Adobe Flash Player Installer dialogue
box opens. Click QUIT if you already have Adobe Flash Player (Adobe Flash Player
11.7 and above) installed on your system, else click INSTALL.

10. Installing Adobe Reader window appears. Click Next to continue.
11. To finish the installation process, click Finish on the setup window.

The eBook is now installed on your machine. Locate the Macmillan icon on your
desktop and double click to launch the eBook.

Launch eBook
To launch an eBook you have to:
1. Click Launch from the Intro screen.
Contents of the book are displayed.

Macmillan eBook is now ready for use. You can click on any chapter to proceed.

Test Generator Installation
To install a Test Generator on your machine, you have to:
1. Click the Test Generator icon from the Macmillan Setup window.
Language Selection dialogue box opens.
2. Click OK. Install Test Generator dialogue box opens.
3. Click Yes.

Test Generator Setup window appears.
4. Click Next. Choose Destination Location window appears.
The software will be installed by default in C:\ drive of your computer. However, you
can also click Browse and select your destination location.

After you choose your destination location Start Copying Files window appears.
5. Click Next. InstallJammer Wizard Complete window appears.
6. To complete the Test Generator installation process click Finish.

Test Generator is now installed on your machine. Locate the Test Generator icon on
your desktop and double click to launch the Test Generator.
Question Bank window opens.

Sound Sync Installation
To install Sound Sync on your machine, you have to:
1. Click the Sound Sync icon form the Macmillan Setup window. Language
Selection dialogue box opens.
2. Click OK. Install Sound Sync dialogue box opens.
3. Click Yes.

SoundSync Setup window appears.
4. Click Next. Choose Destination Location window opens.
The software will be installed by default in C:\ drive of your computer. However, you
can also click Browse and select your destination location.
After you choose your destination location, Start Copying Files window appears.
5. Click Next.
6. You can complete the installation process by clicking Finish from the
SoundSync Setup window.

SoundSync is now installed on your machine. Locate the SoundSync icon on your
desktop and double click it to launch SoundSync.

SCP Installation Process
For SCP Installation of an eBook, you have to:
1. Insert the Macmillan CD or DVD-ROM in your system. AutoPlay dialogue box will
appear on your screen.
Note: If the AutoPlay dialogue box is not displayed you can double click the CD-ROM
Drive icon in My Computer and start the installation process.
2. Click RunSetup.exe from the AutoPlay list. Macmillan setup window opens.

Note: You can install any one of the following from the Macmillan Setup window:
i. eBook
ii. Sound Sync
iii. Test Generator
To install an e-book you have to:
1. Click on the ebook icon.
When the InstallAnywhere status bar shows the status as complete, Title Manager
window opens.

2. Click Next. Title Manager Update window appears.
3. Click Next. Pre-Installation Summary window appears.

4. Click Install. To make any changes to the installation process click Previous.
Installing Title Manager window appears.
5. To complete the installation process click Done from the Title Manager
window.

Title Generator is now installed on your machine. Locate the Title Manager icon on
your desktop and double click to launch the Title Manager.

Title Manager Registration
Macmillan Title Manager window opens.
To register yourself on the Macmillan Title Manager, you have to:
1. Click Register from the Log In page.
2. Registration window opens. Type your access code in the Access Code text
box, then type the letters shown in the image in the Type the letters text box.

3. Click Continue. Enter your details page appears. Enter details in all the
mandatory fields to complete the registration process.
4. Click Continue.
5. Macmillan Title Manager Log In page appears. Enter your User Name and
Password to proceed. Alternatively, you can click Try it now! to use the Title
Manager.

Locate the installed e-book’s icon in the Title Manager and click to launch the e-book.
Title Manager window appears. You can select Table of Contents or ebook to
proceed.
