Product Description:
The DVI-7510a Active Connect® HDMI Coax Extender is a high-performance, all-digital transmission system that
utilizes coaxial cables to route HDMI signals over distances up to 100 meters (328 ft.). This product is fully compatible
with all aspects of the HDMI v1.3 standard and supports transmission of HDMI signals with bit rates up to 10.2 Gbps.
This extender consists of two units: a Transmitter Unit (DVI-7511a) and a Receiver Unit (DVI-7512a). Each unit comes
with its own external AC power adapter. The link between Transmitter Unit (Tx) and Receiver Unit (Rx) requires four
(4) high-quality coaxial cables for Red, Green, Blue, and Clock channels. An optional fifth coaxial cable may be used to
deliver DC power from the Tx unit, eliminating the need for a power adapter on the Rx unit.
Unlike inexpensive HDMI over CAT5 products on the market today, the DVI-7510a Active Connect® HDMI Coax
Extender provides exceptional noise immunity, thanks to the use of shielded cabling. The product is an ideal solution
for retrofits using existing cabling or for new installation where coaxial cables can be pulled and terminated on the job
site. The unit’s exceptional speed (bit rate) ensures that installations are future-proofed to a very high degree.
