AO-FDFD-500500-4LCLC-MX88 optical matrix bundle with AD-SL-500-4LC
to achieve an image routing system, it is definitely saving 50%
extenders cost and reducing complicated electrical cables connection.
AOAO-FDFD-500500-4LC4LC-MX88 is hardware base design, easy to installation
just likes as plug & play, no need any additional driver or software. It
also provides LED indicators to display matrix setup status.
AOAO-FDFD-500500-4LC4LC-MX88 can be applied on long distance HD video
switch and broadcasting, such as medical image system at surgical
room, MRT/airport passenger information system, hotel/super market
video broadcasting and switch system. In addition, fiber input/output
interface fulfilled high quality and interference free communication.

Installation
Step 1. Install AD-SL-500-4LC-T close to DVI source
Step 2. Install AD-SL-500-4LC-R close to DVI sink
Step 3. Connect AD-SL-500-4LC-T to DVI source directly, additional DVI cable is not recommended
Step 4. Connect AD-SL-500-4LC-R to DVI sink directly, additional DVI cable is not recommended
Step 5. Please follow up sequence number to connect fiber between AD-SL-500-4LC-T and matrix
Step 6. Please follow up sequence number to connect fiber between AD-SL-500-4LC-R and matrix
Step 7. Power up DVI extender and matrix
Step 8.Configure matrix connection through RS-232 command or panel push-button key
Remark 1: Please ensure fiber surface clean before insertion, dust may impact communication performance
Remark 2:If DVI source +5V capability is enough (>250mA), AD-SL-500-4LC-T doesn’t need external PSU.
Remark 3:AD-SL-500-4LC-T can clone EDID from monitor if default value is not applicable,
refer to AD-SL-500-4LC user guide

Panel Push-Button Switch Operation
1. Input key: Press Input key to select input port, 1~8 cycling change as LED indication
2. Output key: Press Output key to select output port, 1~8 cycling change as LED indication
3. Set key: Press Set key more than 3 seconds to connect (1) + (2),
LED will flash during matrix connection setup, stop flash after setup done.
Matrix configuration result: 8*8 LED to display input/output connection status.

User scenario
1. Turn on matrix FD 66 CC FC

2. Assign matrix FD 66 AA 0x 02 1y FC, Output-x (0~7) assign to Input-y (0~7)
3. Check matrix table FD 66 BB FC
Matrix confirm back FD 66 BB FC OP[0]~OP[7],
OP[0]~OP[7]: indicate output port connects to which input port 1~8 (000~111)
