Your scoreboard model may not have all of the features listed below.
The Multisport 250 Controller is designed to operate three different models.
SETUP
When the MULTISPORT250 controller is plugged in, the control box will display the
information from the previous game or the last information that was on the scoreboard
when the controller was unplugged.
It will be necessary to “clear” the scoreboard and reset it for the new game.
To do this, press “#” key, then “1”, and then press “FUNCTION”.
On the face of the controller, a red LED will light indicating there is power to the
controller. A green LED will light when the clock is running.
Standard Football System scoring keys:
# - You must first press this key, then press a single digit each time you enter numbers
from this keypad. (Refer to HOME score example sequence.)
FUNCTION - This key is used to change from one sport to another by pressing the
“#” key, the sport number (Football is ‘1’, Basketball is ‘2’, Baseball is ‘3’). Then press
“FUNCTION”. The MS250 controller is preset to your model scoreboard. If you have
other compatible SPECTRUM scoreboards and you want to use this controller, enter the
sport number as discussed.
HOME – Pressing this switch will advance the visitor score digits by one. To reset
the score to “0”, press “RESET”, and then “HOME”. To enter a number, e.g., “12”,
press #, then “1”, then “#”, then “2”, and then press “HOME”.
VIS – Pressing this switch will advance the visitor score digits by one. To reset the
score to “0”, press “RESET”, then “VIS”. To enter a number, e.g., “12”, press “#”, then
“1”, then “#”, then “2”, and then press “VIS”.
QUARTER – Counts 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 1 each time it is pressed.
POSS – On Football Scoreboards with possession indicators, pressing this switch will
alternate the indicator from HOME and VIS.

CLOCK SET - To enter time on the clock (for models with clocks), press the “#”
key before each digit, and then press “CLOCK SET”. The MS250 controller allows for
a down counting clock only.
CLOCK ON/OFF – Pressing this switch will turn the clock on. When the clock is
on, the right top LED on the controller will light.
MANUAL HORN – Press this key to activate the horn.
AUTO HORN – When the clock reaches “0”, the horn will blow for two seconds and
then turn itself off.
RESET – This key is used to reset score to “0”.
