where to position your Wi-Fi router?
At the center of the area where your computers and other devices (smart TV, smartphone, laptops) are placed.
Keep the number of walls and ceilings between the Wi-Fi router and your other devices to a minimum.
Mirrors, sunlight, bricks and concrete can also affect the strength of your Wi-Fi signal.
Place your Wi-Fi router in an elevated location such as on a high shelf.
Away from electronic equipment (e.g. ceiling fans, home security systems, microwaves, PCs,
or the base of a cordless phone). These are potential sources of interference.
Place the router centrally

Good to know!
The Wi-Fi network of 5GHz can provide up to 100 Mbps. However, several factors affect your speed:
• Your 100 Mbps experience will depend on the number of devices connected to the router.
•As you move away from the router, the speed shall degrade as per the physical radio environment.
Stay close to your wireless router for a better experience.
•Wireless routers from neighboring houses can also impact on your speed.
• Make sure you position your router in a place which is free from obstructions. Refer to page 8 to get some ideas !
You can check your volume consumption online. For more details, email us on info@myt.mu
