biggest one.
To a image in video software, title is movie;
to a piece of music in audio software, it is
music.
Each title has a number which makes it
easy to search.
* CHAPTER
lt is smaller than title among the units
of a DVD. A title is made up of several
chapters, and each chapter has a number
for search. But some discs may not have
numbered chapters.
* TRACK
The image or music ina VCD or CD. Each
track has a number for search.

|. PREPARATIONS BEFORE OPERATION
This part introduces the work to be done before operating the unit.
USE REMOTE CONTROL
1. Open the battery cover.
2. Insert two AAA batteries, make sure to
match "+" and "-" of the batteries to
marks inside the battery compartment.
4. Point the remote control at the remote
sensor, operate in the range of 5 meters and
30° from the front of the remote sensor.
Make sure there is no barrier between them.
Notes:
1. Batteries can last about 6 months
generally.
Change the batteries if the remote control
does not work.
2. If the remote control is not used for a long
time, remove the batteries to prevent battery
leakage.

CONNECT TO AN AMPLIFIER WITH 5.1 CHANNEL SURROUND SOUND
1. Some discs with Dolby or MPEG
AUDIO recorded 5.1 channel track.
When connecting a amplifier with 5.1
channel input terminal and 5(+1)
speaker, you can enjoy more realized
sound effect at home.
"5 channel " means 2 front speakers
(L/R), 2 rear speakers (L/R) and a center
speaker. 0.1 means bass speaker output
bass. Even if there are no 5(+1)speakers,
the unit will output signals to each
speaker.
Note: A DVD disc with MPEG AUDIO
format recorded 7.1 channel
soundtrack, the output signal will be
incorported to 5.1 channel.
2. SPEAKERS SETUP
To obtain perfect surround sound, following is
recommended:
a. Use high quality speakers.
b. Use rear and center speakers to match
with front speakers (in size and preformance).
c. If possible , set the bass speakers between
two front speakers(L/R).
Note: Distance between center speakers and listen-
ing location, and distance between
rear speakers and listening location
should shorter than the distance
between front speakers and listening
location.
Do not insert the power cord to outlet or switch POWER
button before finishing connections.

1. Press "TV/VIDEO" onthe TV, select
VIDEO mode (TV).

e Check if the unit is connected securely.
e Make sure you operate the TV correctly.
* Make sure you set the color system
correctly.
Bad sound quality
* Make sure the audio output mode is set
correctly.
* Make sure the audio connection between
the unit and amplifier is right.
Image rolls and no color
* The color system set by this unit does
notmatch with that of TV. Press | SYSTEM
on the remote control to select needed

* Clean the disc.
* Moisture has condensed in the unit.

e Disconnect the power plug and insert it
into the wall outlet again.
Remote control does not work
* Remove barriers between the remote
