Portable power. The lightweight, 1.3kg compact UCS unit is
battery operated and about the size of a small laptop. It features
a display, a camera, and a microphone and uses wired or wireless
LAN. It can be kept on a desk or easily carried around to wherever
you need it.
Note: Photo is a simulation.
Equipped with a super wide-angle camera
that can capture a 170° field of view,
everyone gets in the picture, even when
space is limited. What’s more, the camera's
direction can be reversed for situations
when the location or background is
important.
Smooth Video, 20 Base Connections,
Simultaneous Four-point Display
Integrated and Portable
Integrated Display
Its 10.1-inch LCD display does not
require external power source. Visual
communication is still possible at places
where there is no power supply.
Connect with
Wireless LAN
In addition to wired LAN, the compact
unit is also compatible with standard
wireless LAN. In fact, wherever there’s
a wireless Internet connection available,
that space becomes your workspace.
No need
for
external
power.
With a codec standard video of H.264/SVC, the resolution
and frame rates are automatically adjusted to the network
status, minimizing interruptions and image distortion. What’s
more, four-point simultaneous displays are possible without a
multipoint connection unit (MCU) for up to 20 simultaneous
connection points.

You can share your
computer screen with a
distant colleague or client,
simply by connecting the
compact unit with a USB
cable.
Enjoy the freedom of cordless visual
communication. The compact unit
has a built-in battery, so it works in
locations without power sources.
Three simple steps to start

Eliminate concern
about information leaks
Keep your information safe and secure. UCS operates
on a cloud-based system, so data is not stored on your
device and hence, eliminate chances of information
leakage through mobile devices even when deployed
at various locations, misplaced or stolen. In addition,
audio and video communications are encrypted. Only
calls from registered IDs in the address book (at the
start of the conference connection) can be received.

Operating Precautions
• An Internet connection is required to use the product. The minimum required bandwidth required
upstream and downstream between the terminal and the image distribution server is 500 Kbps. 1 Mbps
or more is recommended. • This product is not intended for long-term continuous operation, such as for
24 hours nonstop. • Do not leave the product outdoors, in a bathroom, in a shower room, or in any other
location where there is the risk that it will get wet. • Do not place any objects on top of the product. • Do
not stack the product with other equipment and do not place any other equipment on top of the product. •
Avoid locations with oil smoke or cigarette smoke, etc. Particulates may adhere to the optical parts, reducing
the service life and causing the image to darken. • Using the unit close to a television or radio may adversely
affect the images and sound. If this happens, move the unit away from the television or radio.
Wireless LAN operating environment
• Wireless connection is supported with an IEEE802.11b/g standard wireless LAN access point. Certain wireless
LAN environments can result in image distortion and delay.
Computer screen sharing operation environment
• Supported operating systems: Windows® XP, Windows Vista®, Windows® 7, Windows® 8
• CPU: Pentium M 1.2 GHz or higher recommended
• Memory: 512MB or more recommended

Wireless LAN Operating Precautions
• The frequency band used by this equipment is 2.4 GHz. This frequency is also used by microwave ovens and
other manufacturing, scientific, and medical equipment, as well as licensed builtin wireless stations used by
similar types of wireless networks, industrial production, and other applications, and license-free special small
power wireless stations and amateur wireless stations (other wireless stations from hereon). 1. Before using
this equipment, confirm that no other wireless stations are operating nearby. 2. In the case that there is radio
interference between this product and other wireless stations, immediately move and use the product in
another location or terminate use of the other equipment (so it is not emitting radio waves). 3. In the case of
other types of radio interference or any other problems, contact your authorized Ricoh sales representative.
4. The range of the wireless signal depends on the local radio environment, obstacles, setup environment,
etc. 5. Be sure to configure appropriate security settings before using a wireless LAN.
