Operation
1. Plug in or connect DC terminal to power distributor(IPD-8329) with proper polarity (AC INPUT, DC24V).
2. Place all slide volume on the front panel and TRIM volume on minimized.
3. If turn on the power, this unit starts operation.
4. When connect CD, deck, or MIC on input, adjust gain input with TRIM volume as signal level of desired channel.
5. Adjust input channel volume control for favorable audio mixing and adjust output level with output channel volume
control.
6. Adjust EQ volume of each channel with monitoring outputs.
Features
* 9 MIC/LINE IN, 1 MASTER OUT, 2 AUX OUT, and 1 REC OUT
Built-in nine microphone, one master out, two sub out for convenient using of this unit and one recording out which is
not influenced by output volume controller.
* 2 AUX IN & 2 PRIORITY INPUT
Auxiliary input is built-in so that users can use external sound sources conveniently and the sound source connected
to 2 channels of this priority input is played prior to the other input.
* INDIVIDUAL EQUALIZER PER CHANNEL
3-band graphic equalizer controls on each input channel.
* 4-BAND MASTER EQUALIZER
4-band graphic equalizer controls on master output.
* PHANTOM POWER FOR CONDENSOR MICROPHONE
Designed to use condenser MIC on channel 1 and 2 and supply voltage is DC +18V.

Front Panel
1. TRIM CONTROL
This volume controls gain of incoming signal
and its adjustable range is 44dB.
2. SIGNAL INDICATOR
This LED indicates that signal has been input
properly on related channel.
3. PEAK INDICATOR (INPUT CHANNEL)
This LED indicates that incoming signal has
been overloaded, and it is illuminated before
3dB to be clipping.
4. INPUT LEVEL CONTROL (CHANNEL
FADER)
It controls level of input signal per channel.
Faders of unused channels should be set to
their lowest points.
5. AUX INPUT CONTROL (AUX1, AUX2)
It controls amount of signal which is incoming
through auxiliary input jack.
6. PEAK INDICATOR (OUTPUT SECTION)
If mixed level or master output level per channel
is too high, this LED is illuminated before 3dB to
be clipping.
7. MASTER CONTROL (MASTER FADER)
This is the master control to adjust mixed signal
from each input channel.
8. 3-BAND EQUALIZER (INPUT CHANNEL)
It has been designed as 3-band equalizer to
adjust input signal to much richer sound.
(HIGH: 10kHz, MID: 1kHz, LOW: 100Hz)
6 IPP-8213
9. PRIORITY INPUT CONTROL (PRIORITY 1,
PRIORITY 2)
This controller releases prior input signal than
other input channels.
Priority of this unit.
- First : PRIORITY 1, or PRIORITY 2 INPUT
- Second : CHANNEL 1/2 which ducking
switched on.
- Third : inputs of other channels (CH 3~9), AUX
input.
10. 4-BAND EQUALIZER (MASTER SECTION)
It has been designed as 4-band equalizer to
adjust input signal to much richer sound.
(HIGH : 10kHz, MID-HI : 2kHz, MID-LOW :
400Hz, LOW : 80Hz)
11. SUB OUT 1, 2 CONTROL
This is sub output control to adjust mixed signal
from each input channel.
12. POWER SWITCH
If press this switch, then power is supplied and
LED is illuminated.
13. PHANTOM POWER INDICATOR
This LED indicates phantom supply statue (DC
+18V) for condenser MIC.

Rear Panel
1. MASTER OUT JACK
This is a balanced XLR output jack for connecting to the
input of power amplifier, its output level is +4dBm/ 600Ω.
8. INSERT JACK
This is an unbalanced line-level input.
Inserting a connector into the insert jack will disconnect
the output of mixer’s master output buss.
2. SUB OUT JACK
These are unbalanced 1/4" PL55 jack for connecting to
the input of power amplifier or other audio inputs, its
output level is +4dBm/ 600Ω.
9. DC INPUT & OUTPUT TERMINAL
These connectors can be used when battery should use
cause of AC power failure, and its DC power is 24V. You
can use it by connecting with IPD-8329.
3. PRIORITY INPUT JACK
This input jack is used to output the signal first than other
inputs. If signal is input through this jack, all channels are
blocked automatically.
4. AUX INPUT JACK
With this jack, auxiliary equipment can be connected. Its
input level is -10dBm/20kΩ.
5. MIC INPUT JACK
It connects XLR type of MIC (1:GND, 2:HOT, 3:COLD).
Its impedance is 50~600Ω.
MIC input connector of CH1 and CH2 is supplied +18V
power through No.2 and No.3 pins by PHANTOM POWER
switch.
6. AC INPUT & FUSE HOLDER
Connect the supplied standard AC input cable to this
unit.
The fuse holder below the input contains the AC
overload protection fuse.
If the fuse has blown out, replace it with a fuse of same
type and rating.
If the fuse continues to blow, refer servicing to qualified
service technician.
7. REC OUT JACK
10. STEREO LINE INPUT JACK
These jack connect stereo equipment of line level such as
CD, tuner, and cassette deck.
11. MONO LINE INPUT JACK
These jack connect mono equipment of line level such as
CD, tuner, and cassette deck.
12. DUCKING SWITCH
When the ducking switches are activated, signal to the
associated MIC inputs 1 and 2 will automatically lower the
gain level of the input channels.
13. PHANTOM POWER SWITCH
When you want to use condenser MIC, if turn on this
switch, +18V condenser MIC power is supplied on No.2
and 3 of XLR jack. Because this power is supplied to
microphones in parallel, you can connect it to other
dynamic microphones. However, if connect it to other
types of MIC, be sure about plug wiring to do not
unbalanced.
* Note: If turn on this switch when volume controller of input
channel and mater volume controller is not placed
at minimized, impact voltage can be incurred
suddenly to MIC circuit, and it may cause defeats of
speaker.
As UNBALANCE output to record mixed signal, its output
level is -10dBV/10kΩ.
