FAQ

Why is there no AirPlay function for some of the media files?

AirPlay function is available for mp4/mov/m4v/mp3/aac/m4a formats stored in the "In-App Storage”.

I can't delete or write data to my PhotoFast Product, and when trying to format it on computer it shows “ write protected " message.

It means the memory in the PhotoFast Product is faulty, please contact the vendor for warranty service.

Why is there no "Drive Security" option in the App?

The "Drive Security" option is available to products using the "PhotoFast ONE" app.

What does the "File System corrupted!" message mean?

It means the PhotoFast Product or memory card (CR-8800) is using the wrong format. Please go to our web site and download the Format Tool on a computer to re-format the PhotoFast Product or memory card.

*

CR-8800 does not have a USB connector, so you will need to put the microSD card in a USB card reader to use this on a computer.

DOWNLOAD

What does the "This cable or accessory is not certified ..." message mean?

It means the authentication chip in the PhotoFast Product may be damaged. Please contact the vendor for warranty service.

Why is my PhotoFast App stuck at the "Initializing..." message?

It means the memory in the PhotoFast Product may be damaged. Please contact the vendor for warranty service.

Why does the PhotoFast App say "Device not connected" when my PhotoFast product is connected to the iOS device?

Make sure you are using the correct app (check http://photofast.com/app/).

Then try a "force restart" to see if it helps (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201559): a) Press the power key + home key at the same time and hold for 10 seconds. b) Release home key when the Apple logo is displayed on screen.

If it still doesn't work, it might be the hardware related. Please contact the vendor for warranty service.

I've put some m4v video files purchased from iTunes on the PhotoFast Product, but the app won't play them.

DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected files can only be played by iTunes video player, we can support media files that have no DRM protection.

P.21

I have a lot of photos in my Camera Roll, but the PhotoFast App only sees some of them.

If you are using iCloud to backup your Camera Roll, the photos are not physically stored in your iOS device, but iOS shows the photo count to indicate how many photos you have in total.

The App can only access "original sized" photos/videos that are physically stored on the iPhone/iPad, the "optimized" images are only low quality previews only available to iOS Camera Roll, not available for our app to access by iOS restriction.

Why do I need to register my PhotoFast Product?

Registration Page needs to be completed in order to enable the Data Security function, in order to recover the password in case forgotten.

Why can’t I see certain files?

There are certain extensions of files that PhotoFast ONE APP might not read, but may be included in future versions and updates. Please, check on the Product Specifications in File compatibility.

Why does the App take so much space on iOS Devices?

Because of the “In-App Storage” is built in and the temporary files storage in the “In-App Storage” .

Can I connect the PhotoFast Product to iOS Devices and USB at the same time?

Yes you can, but the PhotoFast Product data transfer only works on one side at a time, when both ends are connected it will charge the iOS device. The PhotoFast Product data transfer works only on one side at a time, so it cannot be used as a data sync cable with iTunes on your computer. When both sides are connected, it will charge the iOS device. If you want to use the the PhotoFast Product while charging, connect the PhotoFast Product to iPhone/iPad first, before plugging in the charger.

What to do when the app Denied access to the iOS Photo? Calendar? Contacts?

Check if PhotoFast ONE App has permission from iOS
