ATTACHING THE MOUNT TO THE CEILING
A.
WARNING!
WOOD STUD
To insure proper mounting and maximum security, it is recommended that this
mount is installed into a wood joist/stud or other solid surface that will support
at a minimum, 2 times the total weight of the speaker.
A
If installation requires the use of drywall anchors (not included) please select
quality anchors that best fits the mounting needs of the drywall and can support
3 times the weight of the speaker.
Installing the mount to ceiling.
A
1. Select location for installation using a stud finder to locate the center of
the wood stud/joist. Mark location for holes using the mount as a template.
2. Pre-Drill 2 pilot holes using a 1/8” drill bit. Take care when drilling to avoid
any wires or pipes that may be behind the wall/ceiling. (Drywall mounting
will follow instructions of anchors)
3. Using the 2 supplied wood screws (Part A) attach the bracket using a #2
Philips screw driver or driver bit (avoid over tightening to prevent stripping
the screw head).
4. Once the bracket is mounted, replace the 2 plastic cover plates.
If you have questions on these steps, please contact us.
