WARNING
WARNING
It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure all components are properly assembled and installed using the provided instruction manual.
Exceeding weight capacities can result in severe personal injury or damage to equipment.
It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure the combined weight of all components does not exceed the weight capacity of 5 lbs (2.3 kg).
The mounting platform must be strong and stable enough for supporting BARCDHLD2-_ as well as the barcode scanner and base.
Verify that rails have been installed in accordance with Amico rail installation instructions.
Rail failure with mounted devices can cause serious injury and/or equipment damage.
WARNING
DO NOT position the BARCDHLD2-_ above a patient.
WARNING
It shall be the responsibility of the hospital, its consultants and/or contractors to determine if the mounting surface is adequate to safely mount the specific instrument. This includes the selection of appropriate fasteners and the proper installation, REGARDLESS OF WHAT IS SUPPLIED WITH YOUR BARCDHLD2-_. See Amico rail installation instructions for specific wall channel guideline information.
WARNING
DO NOT attempt to mount/remove the BARCDHLD2-_ from the rail when loaded with any instrument.
WARNING
To prevent mounting adapter from sliding down the rail, ensure that all set screws are fastened to the tightest possible position. Serious injuries could result if the set screws are not properly fastened.

SECTION 4: Device Installation
Mounting of Devices
1. For BARCDHLD2-(M/F/A/E25/R125/RMC/V/D/G/S):
Before mounting product onto mounting platform, determine the mounting pattern on the barcode scanner
base to be mounted. If the barcode scanner base is too large to mount onto X-BRCDHLD-LBKT, proceed to step 2
for the installation of the secondary plate.
2. If the secondary plate X-BRCDHLD-PLT is required, determine the preferred orientation and secure by inserting
two or three H-FHPMS-832-38 through X-BRCDHLD-PLT, X-BRCDHLD-LBKT, two or three H-WLM-08 as well as
two or three H-ACNUT-8-32 ensuring that the mounting screws do not interfere with the mounting pattern of
the barcode scanner base.
NOTE: Please use two or three points to attach the secondary plate depending on what will get you the most secure
connection without interfering with the product on the mounting platform.

Never submerge the BARCDHLD2-_ and do not allow liquids to enter it. Wipe any cleaning agents off the BARCDHLD2-_
immediately using a water-dampened cloth. Dry BARCDHLD2-_ thoroughly after.
