INSTRUCTION MANUAL

INTRODUCTION

The Buckeye “Smart Cart” is the perfect dispensing system for cleaning large areas and where portability and mobility are required. The “Smart Cart” system is an economical system designed for controlling cleaning costs. The “Smart

Cart” is ideal for foaming down large areas in a short amount of time. Chemicals are mixed accurately and consistently using a dual pick-up in-line venturi valve with general and heavy cleaning modes. The “Smart Cart” is set-up ready to use with the product Terminator. Cart comes with side mounting clips for easy and portable storage of squeegee or scrubbing brush. Flow-Thru Brush Kit available separately.

PREPARATION

(1) Remove the “Smart Cart” from the shipping carton.

(2) Lift off top of product holding box and open the door.

(3) Attach the Action cap to a Terminator Action Pac.

(4) Invert the Terminator Action Pac so the product cap is on the bottom and slide into the Stainless Steel container box. Make sure that the chemical pick-up line is not kinked or crimped. Close door and replace the cover.

(5) Connect to a water supply using the 10 ft water hose attached to the unit.

Water pressure should be 30 to 80 PSI. Water temperature should not exceed 140 degrees (F).

(6) If using a product other than Terminator, remove the (2) water valve t-handles and the cover of the dispenser.

Locate the (2) metering tips inserted into the barb fittings located on each side of the general and heavy cleaning selector. Remove the chemical pick-up lines and replace the metering tips with those for the selected product as noted in the metering tip chart below. Replace the chemical pick-up lines and secure with zip-ties. Replace dispenser cover.

IMPORTANT NOTES

ONLY USE A HOSE AND SPRAY NOZZLE SUPPLIED BY BUCKEYE.

DO NOT ADJUST THE KNOB ON THE SPRAY NOZZLE FROM THE FULL SPRAY POSITION.

DO NOT OPERATE MORE THAN ONE PRODUCT VALVE AT A TIME, AS PRODUCT DILUTION RATES WILL

NOT BE ACCURATE.

UNIT SUPPLIED WITHOUT A BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICE. TO PREVENT POSSIBLE CHEMICAL

BACKUP INTO THE WATER SUPPLY, COMPLY WITH ALL LOCAL PLUMBING CODES AND INSTALL AN

APPROPRIATE BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICE.

CAUTION: Wear protective clothing and eyewear when dispensing chemicals or other materials. Observe safety handling instructions (MSDS) for chemicals.

CAUTION: When installing any equipment, ensure that all national and local safety, electrical, and plumbing codes are met.

OPERATION

(1) Select either general or heavy cleaning by turning the selector valve on the unit.

(2) Turn the “Foam” valve to the on position and depress the spray nozzle handle. The selected product and water mixture will de dispensed.

(3) To “Rinse,” turn off the “Foam” valve, turn on the “Rinse” valve, and depress the spray nozzle handle. It may take a few seconds to clear the hose of product before only water is being dispensed. For higher volume rinse remove the foam wand via the quick disconnect at the end of the spray nozzle.

(4) Do not have both the Foam and Rinse valves on at the same time.

ALTERNATE METERING TIP RATIOS

NOTE: The chart below is based upon the chemical viscosity of water (CPS = 1.0) and should only be used as a guide — the values were derived using water as the working fluid and 40 PSI dynamic input pressure. Actual ratios and flow rates may vary due to product viscosity, flow pressure, and tubing distance(s).
