Sun Fire 3800 System Fan Trays
Removing a Fan Tray From a Powered-On System
The Sun Fire™ 3800 system has four fan trays in the rear of the system that provide
front-to-back cooling. Three of the four fan trays (FT1, FT2, FT3) are needed for
cooling the system. The fourth fan tray (FT0) is for redundancy.
The fan tray locations for the Sun Fire 3800 system are labeled FT0, FT1, FT2, and
FT3.
