It does not provide S(Y/C) input to composite output or composite input to S(Y/C) output. 1. Connect VGA cable from computer VGA output to MD-3000 VGA input. 2. Connect VGA cable from MD-3000 VGA output to VGA input connector of display monitor. 3. Connect video cable from video source player output to video input jack of MD-3000. 4. Connect video cable from Video output jack of MD-3000 to VCR video input. 5. Connect audio cable from video source audio output direct to VCR audio input jacks. 6. Connect audio/video cable from VCR output to TV/Monitor input. 7. Connect AC adaptor DC plug to DC input jack of MD-3000 and plug in AC Adaptor to AC outlet. Horizontal Size / Right: Adjusts the Horizontal screen size on right side. 3. Vertical Size: Adjusts Vertical screen size. 4. Sharpness: Selects Sharpness level. 5. Mode/Reset: Selects the 3 modes: VGA -------- VGA signal from PC without live video. Video ------ Live video from source player without VGA signal. Overlay --- Overlay VGA signal onto live video. Note: LED will stay lit on "Video" if MD-3000 doesn't receive live video signal from source player. Note: If screen has incorrect colors, please press the "MODE/RESET" key and hold the key for three seconds. The MD-3000 will be reset to normal color. 6. Position Controls: Use the arrow key to adjust the screen position. 7. Source: Selects the input sources S(Y/C) or composite. Color key: Selects the Black or Blue background color on PC screen to be keyed out. This allow the text or graphics you created to appear on your video. 9. Background Noise Filter: Adjusts the filter to erase the background color noise. This should be done after you adjust screen size by "Size" keys. 10. Edge Noise Filter: Using the two dip switches, you may reduce the amount of edge jitter of your text or graphics. There is no correct setting for the switches. Select the settings that give the best result. VIDEO GALAXY R MD-3000 OPERATION 1. When installation is completed, turn your PC power ON and set the PC screen resolution to 800 x 600 or lower. 2. Turns TV power ON and Select TV input source to "Video" input. 3. Turns the Recording VCR power ON and select input source of VCR to "Line" or "A/V" input. 4. Select video input source S(Y/C) or composite by the source switch on the rear panel. 5. Playback the source video and then turn the MD-300 power "ON". 6. Press the "MODE" key to "Overlay" mode. You will now see the PC text and graphics overlay on live video. 7.Create the desired text or graphics image on your PC. 8. Set the text or graphic background to "BLACK" or "BLUE" solid color. Note: The "BLUE" or "BLACK" key color must be 100% pure solid blue or black color. 9. Select the key color by the key color switch on the rear panel to blue or black to correspond to the background color you selected in your computer. The key color you selected will be "Keyed out" and the live video will appear with the text or graphics that you created. 10. Adjust the proper size and position by pressing the size and position keys. 11. After have proper adjustment of Size and Position of text and graphics, adjust the noise filter on the rear panel to reduce the background noise and edge jitter.
