Industrial Module system is an innovative complete

fiber optic cabling solution which is modular, reliable and sturdy and is designed for industrial use.

It is particularly recommended for

industries which

generate, transport and distribute power, the Oil and

Gas industry, video surveillance and security, and any other industrial automation.

The system is made up of a Patch Panel which can hold up to 12 connectors(24 SFF)in the standard version, 6 connectors(12 SFF) in the Mini version, and a series of factory-terminated cables

according

to client specifications at the time of ordering.

PATCH PANEL

IMod - Industrial Module System

IMod and Mini-IMod are compact, sturdy panels, designed for managing the termination and/or splicing of fi ber optic cable, mountable on a 35mm

DIN Rail.

The 30 degree slope of the connections allows for reduced installation depth; the DIN Rail clip can also be fi xed to the sides of the panels.

The cable-entry kits, produced according to typology of cable, guarantee an effi cient management of the fi bers.

IMod and Mini-IMod are available with pre-installed adapters and pigtails ready for fusion-splicing, or just with adapters to house the pre-terminated cables, or otherwise in the splice-through version.

IMod Line System

IMod Line system is a cabling platform entirely factoryassembled according to client specifi cations and ready to use: the connectorised ends of the cable, which are protected by a metal tube during the laying, fi t exactly into the Patch Panel IMod and Mini-IMod. The 5mm diameter corrugated tube, which connects the cable to the Patch Panel, allows the fi bers to be installed safely and easily into the cabinets, as well as protecting the fi bers from a tight radius of curvature; the length can be decided by the client.

IMod Line system can be made with a cable which either has dielectric armour and a LSZH jacket or corrugated steel armour and PE jacket.

Installation is quick and easy: there is no need for specialized staff or expensive equipment, therefore installation time and costs are signifi cantly reduced.

This product is shipped in adequate packaging and includes the test report.

IMod Plug and Play

I Mod Plug and Play is a cabling solution particularly suitable for linking racks in the same room or in the same building where the cable ducting system is ample: the connectors are already inserted inside the IMod and

Mini-IMod panels and once fi xed to the DIN rail they are ready to be connected to the equipment.

A tube between the cable and the IMod allows for the safe and easy management of the fi bers in the rack. The length of the tube can be defi ned by the client.

I Mod Plug and Play can be made with a cable which either has dielectric armour and a LSZH jacket or corrugated steel armour and PE jacket.

Installation is quick and easy: there is no need for specialized staff or expensive equipment, therefore signifi cantly reducing installation time and costs.
