Frequently asked questions

Make sure the WT-BAC-IP Gateway and WT-ROUTER Router are installed and powered up before installing the room thermostats. The room thermostat will automatically search for the network and connect within 30 seconds if successful.

The room thermostat operates in both scheduled and manual modes. Scheduled modes are triggered by occupancy schedules, providing energy savings by aligning HVAC operation with building occupancy. Manual modes are initiated by the user at the thermostat level, allowing adjustments outside of the schedule within set energy policy parameters.

Make sure the room thermostat is in the Occupied Mode. Use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the setpoint temperature within the predefined Comfort Zone limits.

The Shoulder Mode allows for shallow setback energy savings when a room is vacated early. Press the Shoulder button to activate this mode. The Shoulder Mode period is limited and the thermostat returns to its scheduled mode at the next Unoccupied Mode change.
