Short pulse on , long pulse off - when connected with GSM
network
System Startup:
1. Power up the GSM intercom
2. The unit will beep every 10 seconds while searching for the network
3. When it connects you will hear 3 fast beeps

Note: Entering a “+” at the start of the SMS command will force the GSM intercom to send
back a confirmation message.
To program the number the intercom will call, send the following SMS:
;+ATN1=XXXXXXXXX; (w here XXXXXXXXX = the phone number to be called)
For example, to program the GSM intercom to call (01) 1234567, ;+ATN1=011234567; should
be sent.
To program multiple numbers for the intercom to call, send the following SMS:
;+ATN1=XXXXXXXXX;ATN2=XXXXXXXXX;ATN3=XXXXXXXXX;.............. (up to 5 phone
numbers max where XXXXXXXXX = phone number)
To read the numbers already programmed into the intercom, send the following SMS:
;PDEA;
To delete a number, send the following SMS:
;ATN3=; (this example w ill delete number 3)
Press the CALL button to test the system. When the call is answered, the operator can:
Open output 1 (usually the gate/door) by pressing 11 on their phone
Open output 2 by pressing 21 on their phone
Optional Programming:
To mute the ringtone on the GSM intercom when the CALL button is pressed, send the
following SMS:
;MUT=1;
To hide the number of the SmartAccess GSM Intercom when calling (block caller ID), send the
following SMS:
;+HTN=0;
To set the delay time (time in seconds before calling next number), send the following SMS:
;+RTNA=XX; (w here XX = the number of seconds to delay)
To set the time that the call stays connected when a call is answered (to avoid, for example, a
long call if the GSM intercom gets through to a voicemail service), send the following SMS:
;LOT=XX; (w here XX = the time in seconds)
To change the speaker volume level (Default=10, Min=1 / Max=20), send the following SMS:
;+SPK=XX; (w here XX = the level of speaker volume)
To change microphone level (Default=15, Min=1 / Max=40), send the following SMS:
;+MIC=XX; (w here XX = the microphone level)
To enable CLIP (Caller ID) for remote output control (this allows only pre-programmed
numbers permission to activate outputs), send the following SMS:
;CLPEN=1;
To allow any number permission to activate outputs, send the following SMS:
;CLPEN=2;
To set CLIP (Caller ID) numbers to trigger output 1, send the following SMS:
;+CLP1=XXXXXXXXX;CLP2=XXXXXXXXX;................ (up to 100 phone numbers max
where XXXXXXXXX = phone number)
Please note that this call will not be charged as the GSM intercom will not answer the call.
To delete a CLIP number, send the following SMS:
;CLIP2=; (this example w ill delete CLI P number 2)
To read all the CLIP numbers already programmed into the intercom, send the following SMS:
;PCLP;
To set the output switching configuration, send the following SMS:
;+OSX=Y; (w here X = the output number (1 or 2) and Y = number of seconds to
pulse output (2-99). When Y=1, the output will latch).
For example, to pulse output 1 for 3 seconds, send ;+OS1=3;
For example, to set latching on/off on output 2, send ;+OS2=1;
To control the outputs by SMS, send the following SMS messages:
;+ORC1=1; (output 1 on)
;+ORC1=0; (output 1 off, if set to latching)
;+ORC2=1; (output 2 on)
;+ORC2=0; (output 2 off, if set to latching)
To program alarm input 1 as a press to exit button, send the following SMS:
;+OD1=1;
You can now connect a push to exit button between Alarm 1 and GND.
To check GSM signal, send the following SMS:
;PSQ;
At default, any number can configure the GSM intercom by sending it SMS messages.
To program an administrator phone number(s), send the following SMS:
;TN1=XXXXXXXXX; TN2=XXXXXXXXX;........(up to 5 phone numbers max where
XXXXXXXXX = phone number)
To read all the administrator numbers already programmed into the intercom, send the
following SMS:
;PTN;
If desired, the GSM intercom can reject SMS messages from certain administrator numbers as
follows:
;SL=0; (SM S messages are accepted from all administrator numbers - default setting)
;SL=1; (TN1 SM S messages are accepted)
;SL=2; (TN1 and TN 2 SMS messages are accepted)
;SL=3; (TN1, TN2 and TN 3 SMS messages are accepted)
;SL=4; (TN1, TN2, TN3 and TN4 SM S messages are accepted)
;SL=5; (TN1, TN2, TN3, TN4 and TN5 SM S messages are accepted)
To set up a test message, send the following SMS:
;+TST=XX;LN5=YYYYY; (w here XX is the frequency of messages in hours (1 -240)
and YYYYY is the administrator numbers you wish to send the test message to)
For example, sending ;+TST=24;LN5=135; will instruct the GSM intercom to send a test
message every 24 hours to administrators TN1, TN3 and TN5.
To set the time for the first test message to be sent, send the following SMS:
