LCD screen. As a result the monitor’s cabinet is a thinner, the display is

Increased ruggedness : LEDs are solid state devices and more
resistant to shock and vibration than CCFL backlights.
Increased reliability : Compared to CCFL backlights LEDs have a
longer lifetimes.
Increased brightness - lower power consumption : LEDs can
be driven to higher luminance levels than CCFL backlights.
Conversely, lower power is required to achieve normal
brightness levels than CCFL backlights.

The contrast ratio is defined as the ratio of the luminance
of the brightest color (white) to that of the darkest color
(black) that the system is capable to produce. Working with
the dynamic contrast technology, HYUNDAI IT monitors are
bringing the benefit of showing the maximum contrast the
panel is physically able to achieve disregarding the luminance
level of the screen contents.
