It recovers 20mm of the maximum 109mm allowable stack height. This allows for greater flexibility when adding a dualview accessory, polarizing housing or other stack-up accessories - all without loss of viewing area. The low profile mount is ergonomically designed by keeping the microscope height minimal. LBX-300 The LBX-300 mount easily attaches to the binocular. This head replaces the mount housing on the Olympus U-TBI inclinable binoc head. (On more recent tilt head models, the cylindrical glass must be removed.) The adapter mounts between the microscope stand and observation head and raises height by 30mm with a 1x magnification factor. If needed, two or three adapters can be stacked to create a ergonomical sitting position. With the LBX-353 adapter a Olympus U-DO can be stacked on top of a U-MDO. LBX-U-EPA The LBX-301 looks like the LBX-353, but with this adapter the Olympus B-Max components can be stacked on top of a BH2 or CH30 stand. Combining the LBX-D6RE nosepiece adapter with the U-D6RE) six-place nosepiece, or the Olympus U-R156 (U U-R177 (U U-D7RE) seven-place nosepiece, creates a replacement for the five-place nosepiece - which is the standard nosepiece for the BX40 and BX45. This design allows for ease in moving the microscope components out of the way for loading or unloading specimens, or just positioning for different height objects - such as whole animals or metallurgical samples. The LBX-HYBRID also has an adjustable stop for returning the microscope back to a predetermined position after loading a specimen. The LBX-HYBRID stand is designed to be used with Olympus items: BXFM-F focus module, BXFM-ILH mount and any of the BX2 reflected light brightfield/darkfield and fluorescence illuminators. The LBX-HYBRID-RSM mount is designed for using a reflected light stage on the LBX-HYBRID stand.
