After turning on the startclock, it will scan for a GPS receiver. If it does not find one, it will show the time of day after 10 seconds. The hours will be blinking. Use the green push button PB1 (1) to set the hours, and then use the yellow push button PB2 (2) to switch to the minutes and seconds. You can set the minutes and seconds using the green button PB1 (1). If you keep the yellow push button PB2 (2) pressed for about 3 seconds, the time of day is set and ready for synchronization. You can then synchronize with an impulse on the start input banana sockets (4) or by pressing the green push button PB1 (1).

You can select the countdown interval using the internal yellow push button (2), remote control ASC3-RC, external push button connected at the red/black banana socket (5), or by using the manual countdown.

There are several programs available, including automatic countdown programs for alpine skiing, cross country skiing, car racing, and rally, as well as manual countdown programs with various features.
