The 5280CP is a single lever monobloc kitchen mixer tap with
a flexible spout allowing 360˚ of rotation.
Movement of the lever handle controls water flow and
temperature via a ceramic disc cartridge.
The mixer tap is not suitable for gravity fed systems and
requires a minimum pressure of 0.5 bar.
Installation
Your Inta kitchen tap must be installed in accordance with the
Water Byelaws.
In order to prevent scalding, the hot water tap
should be connected to the hot water supply via a
thermostatic mixing valve.
It is recommended that a service valve is installed in the cold
water supply pipe and the thermostatic mixing valve should
have connections containing an isolating valve, in order to
isolate the tap should servicing be required in the future.
All installations should be thoroughly flushed and cleaned to
remove any debris that may affect the performance of the tap.
This mixer tap is designed for installing in one hole sinks or
work tops.
Screw the retaining screw (5) into the threaded hole in the
base of the body taking care not to over tighten.

Connect the flexible hoses (4) to the tap and tighten noting
which flexible is connected to the hot side of the tap.
The hot supply must be connected to the left
hand side and the cold to the right hand side of the
tap when viewed from the front.
Ensure that the sealing ‘O’ ring (1) is seated correctly in the
recess prior to fitting the tap to the sink or work top.
Once in place, add the rubber gasket (2) and retaining plate
(3) then secure in position, taking care not to over tighten the
retaining nut (6).
Connect the flexible hoses to the hot and cold supplies
remembering which was connected to the hot inlet and ensure
all joints are water tight.
For optimum mixing performance where the hot and cold
pressures are not equal, regulating valves should be installed
directly upstream of the tap so that the water supply pressures
can be regulated and equalised.

Operating
The tap is off when the lever is vertical in the centre or rotated
positions.
To open the tap pull the lever forward progressively to increase
the water flow as shown.
With the lever in the vertical position both hot and cold water
ports will be partially open and mixed water will flow from
the tap, which will feel tempid.
Rotating the lever clockwise progressively closes the hot water
port and opens the cold water port until it is fully open when
only cold water flows.
Rotating the lever anticlockwise progressively closes the cold
water port and opens the hot water port until it is fully open and
water at the maximum temperature flows.
The spout can be rotated through 360˚ although in normal use
it is more likely to be 180˚.
The spout can be unclipped from the support arm and moved
in any orientation to direct the water stream to the required
place. After use clip the spout back in the support arm.
Aftercare.
The nozzle should be cleaned periodically to remove any build
up of debris or deposits which may affect the performance of
the tap.
Inta kitchen mixers have a high quality finish and should be
treated with care. An occasional wipe with a mild washing-up
liquid on a soft damp cloth followed by a thorough rinsing is all
that is required.
Do not use an abrasive or chemical household
cleaner as this may cause damage.
