OPERATING THE ECONOMY HD CAR DASH CAM
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Allow the device to charge 4 – 6 hours before
using.
2. To turn the Car Dash Cam OFF press and hold the Power
Button
 The Goodbye Screen will appear and then the device
will turn OFF
HOW TO CHARGE THE CAR DASH CAM USING YOUR
COMPUTER
1. Insert the USB cable in the USB Port of the device
2. Insert the USB cable into the USB Port of your computer
 The green indicator light will turn on
HOW TO CHARGE THE CAR DASH CAM USING YOUR CAR
1. Insert the car charger into the AV out
2. Insert the car charger into a power source in your vehicle
 The green indicator light will turn on
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Car cameras are designed to run off of
constant power. The internal battery should not be relied upon for
extended recording. The purpose of the battery is to make sure the
most recent files are saved in case of an accident where the unit
would normally lose power.
SYSTEM SETUP
1. Turn the Car Dash Cam ON
2. Press and hold the Mode Button to enter System Setup Mode
3. Press the Rec/Ok Button
4. Use the Up/Down Buttons to cycle through the menu
5. Use the Rec/Ok Button to select
HOW TO TURN THE CAR DASH CAM ON/OFF
1. To turn the Car Dash Cam ON press the Power Button
 The Welcome Screen will appear

HOW TO RECORD VIDEO
1. Ensure you have inserted a MicroSD Card into the MicroSD
Card Slot
2. Turn the Car Dash Cam ON
3. After the Welcome Screen the default mode is Video Mode

HOW TO TAKE PHOTOS
1. Turn the Car Dash Cam ON
2. Press the Mode Button to enter Camera Mode

4. To switch from Day to Night Mode press the On/Off Button
once
5. Press the Rec/Ok Button to start recording
 The Recording Time will start counting
 The red recording light will flash on the screen
6. Press the Rec/Ok Button again to stop and save your recording
VIDEO SETUP
1. Turn the Car Dash Cam ON
2. Press and hold the Mode Button to enter Video Setup Mode
3. Use the Up/Down Buttons to cycle through the menu
4. Use the Rec/Ok Button to select

3. Use the Up/Down Buttons to zoom in or out on the object you
would like to photograph
4. Press the Camera Button
 The screen will turn off and then back on
CAMERA SET UP
1. Turn the Car Dash Cam ON
2. Press the Mode Button once to enter Camera Mode
3. Press and hold the Mode Button to enter Camera Setup Mode
4. Use the Up/Down Buttons to cycle through the menu
5. Use the Rec/Ok Button to select
PLAYBACK MODE
1. Press the Mode Button twice to enter Playback Mode

RETRIEVE THE FILES TO YOUR PC
1. Plug the device into your PC using the USB cable
 The Welcome Screen will appear
2. Select Memory
3. Locate “Camera” inside the (My) Computer folder
 AutoPlay Removable Disk > Open folder to view files

2. Use the Up/Down Buttons to cycle through your photo and
video files
3. Press the Rec/Ok Button to make your selection
4. If you are viewing a video press the Rec/Ok Button again to
play the video
5. When you are done viewing your photo or video press the
Mode Button to return to the Playback Mode main screen

Go to Start > Computer > Removable Disk
4. Open the Removable Disk drive
5. Open the DCIM folder
6. Double click the file you want to view
 VLC Player is recommended for watching videos
TROUBLESHOOTING

THE DEVICE WON’T TURN ON
 Charge the device for at least 4 hours before the first use
 Make sure the charging cable is securely inserted into the
device and into the power source
THE DEVICE ISN’T CHARGING
 Replace the battery or charging cable
 If you are charging via a wall power source, you may need to
charge via your PC. The AC adapter might be bad
THE DEVICE HAS CRASHED
 You need to reset the device
MY COMPUTER DOESN’T RECOGNIZE THE DEVICE
 Unplug the device from your PC and reboot the device
 Unplug the device from your PC and reboot your PC
 Try using a different USB slot on your PC
 Replace the USB cable
THE SOUND OR VIDEO IS UNCLEAR
 The device needs charging
