and newspapers.
The Packaging and Newspaper Collection Service (FTI)
is in charge of the Recycling Stations found in several

Environment Stations
For hazardous waste
Disposing of your hazardous waste requires extra
care. To minimize environmental impact, hazardous
waste should be deposited at the Environment
Stations for safe handling. These are found at the
Recycling Centres.

SAMLAREN – FOR SMALL ELECTRONIC WASTE
Sort your small electronic waste in Samlaren (The
Collector) at Ica Maxi, Ystadvägen or Ica Maxi, Västra
Hamnen. Small electronics are light bulbs, low-energy
light bulbs, small batteries and other small electronic
appliances such as electric toothbrushes and razors.

Recycling Centres
For bulky refuse, electronic waste, hazardous waste
At the Recycling Centres you can dispose of things like
broken furniture, flea market stuff, wooden boards,
big cardboard boxes, garden waste, hazardous waste
and electronic waste. Sort the waste yourself for reuse, recycling, composting or combustion.
There are two Recycling Centres for the residents of
Malmö and Burlöv. The centres are manned facilities
with fixed opening hours.
