Average Hours/Week:
Lagoon will provide on average 40 hours per week over the course of June, July, and August. However, employees may work 50 to
60 hours per week depending on the desire of the employee, employee performance, and business levels.
Typical Schedule:
Beginning in late August, hours available will decrease as Lagoon is open only Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays. Employees
typically may work, on average, 15-20 per week.

Under general supervision, the Ride Operator is responsible for the proper operation of amusement rides and attractions including
assisting guests in loading and unloading of ride and restraining systems, operating the ride using control panels, communicating
safety instructions, and observing the ride while in motion in accordance with Lagoon’s Policies and Procedures. The Ride Operator
will also be enforcing all park policies and safety guidelines in accordance with Lagoon’s Policies and Procedures.
Required Duties:
Each morning the Ride Operator will clean the ride area, perform safety inspections, and maintain ride cleanliness throughout the day,
including sweeping ride enclosures, cleaning ride structures, seats, and other miscellaneous duties.
The Ride Operator will operate amusement rides during normal and unusual situations and different modes of operation. The Ride
Operator will closely monitor the ride and guests to affect safe operation. The Ride Operator will direct guests to the ride to load and

unload in a safe efficient manner, including assisting children on and off rides. The Ride Operator will respond quickly to unusual
situations during normal operation, including power failure, operating system faults or shutdowns, smoke alarms, and guest
evacuation.
The Ride Operator provides verbal instructions to guests at the start of each ride and in some cases during the ride cycle. The Ride
Operator shall check for proper hand stamps and collect ride tickets and shall deposit them into the proper ticket box. The Ride
Operator monitors and responds to inappropriate guest behavior, to enforce rules and restrictions, regulate guests’ actions, and
request assistance from Security and the Area Supervisor as needed.
The Ride Operator must exhibit a high degree of motivation toward providing guest satisfaction by displaying a friendly approach to
service guests. In addition, the Ride Operator must be able to deal with many guests each day in a positive and friendly manner.
The Ride Operator must be flexible to work at different ride and/or attraction positions and must be knowledgeable of all work stations
requirements and functions.
During training periods, the Ride Operator must be able to read and assimilate information provided in the Ride Division Manual and
the Seasonal Employee Handbook, and comprehend verbal instructions from the training Area Supervisor.
The Ride Operator will be working around high noise levels resulting from amusement rides and various equipment. The Ride
Operator must be able to remain focused on the job while dealing with interruptions from guests and/or other employee contact.

Supplies Required:
Lagoon will supply each participant with their uniform shirt. Each participant will be responsible for supplying their uniform pants or
shorts, as well as solid colored shoes. Shoe must be comfortable and may not be open-toed. Pants or shorts must be tan or light
brown in color.
Ride Operators and Games Attendants may choose pants or shorts. Food and Beverage Employees MUST WEAR PANTS.
Lifeguards will be provided with a lifeguard uniform, but will be responsible for supplying their own sandals.
Dress Code: Each participant must wear an approved Lagoon uniform at all times while on duty and must adhere to the following
uniform standards:
• Uniform shirt must be tucked in at all times.
• ID Cards must be visible while working.
• Pants and shorts should be light in color: cargo pants/shorts, extreme flares, or frayed bottoms are not acceptable.
• Shorts should have a low sole and be a solid color. Shoes and/or shoelace color may not be extreme. Opened toed shoes are not
allowed.
• Hats, whether required by your department or not, must be a Lagoon issued had.
• Jackets, sweatshirts, hats, lanyards, or other optional uniform accessories employees choose to wear must be Lagoon issued and
purchased at the employee’s expense.
Grooming: Lagoon maintains a strict Personal Appearance Policy. Employees are expected to present a neat, well-groomed
appearance and a courteous disposition. At Lagoon, we feel that these qualities go further than any other factor in making a favorable
impression on the public and your fellow workers. All Lagoon employees must follow the same basic guidelines concerning personal
grooming:
• A neat haircut with no extreme hairstyles. Male employees’ hair should be off the collar. If your hair does not meet these
standards, a Lagoon hat may be purchased to cover your hair.
• Beards and mustaches are permitted if they are fully grown and are kept trimmed and neat.
• Jewelry may be worn if it is in good taste and will not interfere with your safety. Exposed piercings or gauges, other than earrings
on female employees, are not allowed. Male employees may not wear earrings or gauges while in uniform.
• No extreme make-up.
• Employees may be asked, and must agree, to cover tattoos while on duty.
Drug and Alcohol: Possession, consumption, or being under the influence of alcoholic beverages or dugs on the premises at any time,

Schedule times may be as early as 7 AM and as late as 1 AM. Employees must, at minimum, have at least one (1) day off per week.

Under general supervision, the Lifeguard is responsible for monitoring the activities of guest at Lagoon A Beach Water Park in
specified rotation zones, assisting guests out of slides and attractions, facilitating slide operation, and for participating in guest service
skills in accordance to Lagoon’s policies and procedures.

During training periods, Lifeguards must be able to read and assimilate information provided in the Lifeguard manual, National Aquatic
Safety Company manual, C.P.R. manual, the Seasonal Employee Handbook and comprehend verbal instruction from the designated
instructors. In addition, Lifeguards must pass several written and practical skills tests throughout the training period, each test must be
passed by the designated number of correct answers before Lifeguards will be permitted to proceed to the next phase of training.
During the operating season, Lifeguards will be required to attend “in-service” trainings to review and practice skills and techniques.

Announced and unannounced audits of Lifeguards’ C.P.R. and rescue skills will take place; Lifeguards must pass all audits during the
operating season to continue lifeguarding. Any failed audits will result in suspension of Lifeguard licensing.
Lifeguards must maintain a high level of attentiveness, professionalism, maturity, and good judgment.
Able to respond quickly to provide assistance to guests, perform rescues of guests and guest evacuations on slides and attractions.
The Lifeguard must monitor and respond to inappropriate guest behavior, including enforcing rules and restrictions, regulating guests’

Position Details
All housing is “Apartment Style” housing with kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Lagoon will provide each apartment with a bed
mattress pillow and sheets. All other apartment furnishing will be the participant’s responsibility upon arrival.
All housing is NON SMOKING.
Each apartment will have 5-7 persons per apartment depending on size and number of bedrooms. Each bedroom will have a
minimum of 3-4 participants. Lagoon will not guarantee rooms for individuals or couples.
Each participant will be required to sign a LAGOON HOUSING AGREEMENT upon arrival.
Participants must remain employed with Lagoon and remain in the Intrax Work/Travel program to stay in the housing facilities.

Average Hours/Week:
Lagoon will provide on average 40 hours per week over the course of June, July, and August. However, employees may work 50 to
60 hours per week depending on the desire of the employee, employee performance, and business levels.
Typical Schedule:

Under general supervision, the Games Attendant is responsible for acting as a salesperson, selling Games of skill to Lagoon guests
by explaining the rules, providing encouragement, asking for replays and awarding prizes with enthusiasm in accordance with
company policies and procedures. Games Attendant must handle cash accurately and maintain an even count at the end of their
shift.
Required Duties:
The Games Attendant must have the ability to handle cash, as well as be able to count back change in accordance to Lagoon’s cash
handling and cash control policies and procedures.
Games Attendant will perform daily cleaning of both the inside and outside before, during, and after operational hours of game
locations. Cleaning duties will include washing windows, sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters, cleaning garbage receptacles,

The Games Attendant must monitor and respond to inappropriate guest behavior, including enforcing rules and restrictions, regulating
guests’ actions, and requesting assistance from Security and the Games Supervisors if necessary.
The Games Attendant must provide verbal instructions to guest relating to game information. All Games Attendant will operate game
locations during normal and unusual conditions.
The Games Attendant must exhibit a high degree of motivation toward ensuring guest satisfaction by displaying an aggressively
friendly approach to service guests. In addition, the Games Operator must be able to deal with many guests each day in a positive
and friendly manner.
Closely monitor games area to ensure a safe operation and prevent theft.
The Games Attendant must be flexible to work in different game locations and must be knowledgeable in all work stations.
During training periods, the Games Attendant must be able to read and assimilate information provided in the Games Manual and the
Seasonal Employee Handbook, and comprehend verbal instructions from the training Games Supervisor.
Games Attendants are required to exhibit an orientation to sales, and subsequently, employees are required to exhibit adequate

The Games Attendant will be working around high noise levels resulting from amusement rides and various equipment. T

Supplies Required:

Ride Operators and Games Attendants may choose pants or shorts. Food and Beverage Employees MUST WEAR PANTS.
Lifeguards will be provided with a lifeguard uniform, but will be responsible for supplying their own sandals.
Dress Code: Each participant must wear an approved Lagoon uniform at all times while on duty and must adhere to the following
uniform standards:
• Uniform shirt must be tucked in at all times.
• ID Cards must be visible while working.
• Pants and shorts should be light in color: cargo pants/shorts, extreme flares, or frayed bottoms are not acceptable.
• Shorts should have a low sole and be a solid color. Shoes and/or shoelace color may not be extreme. Opened toed shoes are not
allowed.
• Hats, whether required by your department or not, must be a Lagoon issued had.
• Jackets, sweatshirts, hats, lanyards, or other optional uniform accessories employees choose to wear must be Lagoon issued and
purchased at the employee’s expense.
Grooming: Lagoon maintains a strict Personal Appearance Policy. Employees are expected to present a neat, well-groomed
appearance and a courteous disposition. At Lagoon, we feel that these qualities go further than any other factor in making a favorable
impression on the public and your fellow workers. All Lagoon employees must follow the same basic guidelines concerning personal
grooming:
• A neat haircut with no extreme hairstyles. Male employees’ hair should be off the collar. If your hair does not meet these
standards, a Lagoon hat may be purchased to cover your hair.
• Beards and mustaches are permitted if they are fully grown and are kept trimmed and neat.
• Jewelry may be worn if it is in good taste and will not interfere with your safety. Exposed piercings or gauges, other than earrings
on female employees, are not allowed. Male employees may not wear earrings or gauges while in uniform.
• No extreme make-up.
• Employees may be asked, and must agree, to cover tattoos while on duty.
