Product Introduction
The Begadi B6 Compact charges 2S to 6S Lipo and 1 to15 cell
NiMH battery packs with just the press of a button.Everything is
automatic,so there’s no complicated guesswork.You get a safe,
high-quality charge every time.Tt’s the easiest charger you’ll
ever use!

Use the information in this section to connect the Begadi B6
Compact and your battery.Failure to make the connections
correctly can result in damage to the charger and/or your

power cord or the DC power cord provided.When connected
to power, the charger will make a single audible tone and the
LiPo Status LED will illuminate green.
When connecting to a DC power source,make suer to observe correct polarity -red to positive and black to negative.
Do not connect both power inputs to the charger at the
same time!
Plug the output power adapter cord into the output power
ports of the charger,making sure to observe correct polarity (
red to red and black to black)

Plug your battery into the output power adapter cord.If you’re
charging a LiPo battery,plug its balance connector into the
matching balance port on the charger,too.
Depending on the power connector on your battery,you may
need to use an adapter or change the connector to match.
In addition,if your LiPo battery does not feature an XH balance
connector,an adaptor board can be used.For more information,refer to the notice on previous page.
Charging your battery
The charge rate of 1.5C is vatiable and is automatically determined by the charger. When charging a LiPo battery, the charge
rate used is based on the charger’s calculation of the LiPo battery’s capacity and internal resistance while charging to ensure a
safe charge.When charging NiMH battertes,the charge rate used
is based on capacity too. The charger’s maximum power output is
50 watts,so larger capacity LiPo and NiMH batteres will not charge
at 1.5C,but rather at the 50 watt total output.
The charger features a two hour safety timer.When the charging
process is started,an internal safety timer is automatically started.
If the battery pack malfunctions or fails to peak,the timer will
automatically stop the charging process after 2 hours.This two
hour safety timer should allow enough time to fully charge even
the largest capacity battery packs you might use.
1.Press the Start/Stop/Select button to select the desired battery
type,either LiPo or NiMH,depending on the battery type currentlly
2.Press and HOLD,then release the Start/Stop/Select button to
start the charging process.The status LED of the battery type you
selected will turn red,indicating the charging process has started.
3.Allow the charger to charge your battery.When the charging
process has completed,the status LED will turn green and an
audible chime will sound.
If charging a LiPo battery,the LiPo status LED will turn orange
when the battery is charged to 90% capacity,then will turn green
when charged to full capacity as described above.
The charging process can be stopped at any time by pressing the
Start/Stop/Select button.
4.After the charging process completes,unplug your battery from
the charger,then unplug the charger from its power source.
If the battery is left connected to the charger, an audible chime
will sound once every minute to remind you to remove the battery
from the charger. The charger does not trickle charge after the
charging process completes,as LiPo and NiMH batteries are
susceptible to damage if overcharged.
Fault description
If the charger detects a fault, an error will be diaplayed,indicated
by a flashing status LED (or LEDs) and an audible chime.
LiPo Status LED Flashes Red with Audible Chime
The balance connector has been unplugged during the
charging process.Press the Start/Stop/Select button to reset the
charger, then plug the balance connector back in and restart the
charging process.
LiPo Status LED Flaches Green with Audible Chime
The balance connector is not plugged in or has been plugged
into the incorrect balance port,Press the Start/Stop/Select button
to reset the charge,then plug the balance connector into the
correct balance port and restart the charging process.
LiPo and NiMH Status LED Flashes Red with Audible Chime
The charger’s input voltage is too high(greater than 18V
).Disconnect the charger and reconnect to a power source within
the recommended specification (DC 11 to 18V).
Fault description
LiPo or NiMH Status LED Flashes Red with Audible Chime
·A cell (or cells )in the battery pack is bad or an individual cell’s
voltage is too high or too low.If after checking the cells they
are determined to be okay,unplug the charger from its power
source,then plug it back in and try starting the charging process
again.If the fault occurs with a different battery pack,there could
be an internal fault with the charger.Contact Customer Service using the information in the Service and Support section on page 2.
LiPo or NiMH Status LED Flashes Green with Audible Chime
·The incorrect battery type has been selected.Press the Start/
Stop/Select button to reset the charger,then choose the correct
battery type for the battery you’re charging and restart the
charging process.
LiPo or NiMH Status LED Flashes Red and Green with Audible
·The battery has been diasconnected during the charging process.Press the Start/Stop/Select button to reset the charger,then
plug the battrey in and restart the charging process.The charger’s
output current is too low or too high and/or the charger’s inrernal
temperature is too high.Disconnect the charger from its power
source and allow it to cool,then reconnect the charger and restart
the charging process.If the fault continues to occur even when the
charger is cool,there could be an internal fault with the charger.

Before returning your product for warranty consideration,the
status of the unit must be within the terms of the Warranty Information section on the previous page.When requesting warranty
service,please observe the following:
・Include a note detailing the problem or service you are requesting.Include your daytime phone number,shipping address and
your Email address in the event we need to contact you.
・If your product is out of the warranty period you may request
an estimate of services at the time you return it for service.An
omission of this requset implies permission for Global Services to
service your product at our discretion.
・If it’s determined that your product cannot be warrwantied,you
will be contacted with an estimate of repairs.
・Carefully pack the product to prevent any chance of shipping
damage,then send the package to the address below.We recommend using United Parcel Service,Federal Express or Insured
Mail.Postage is nonrefundable.
