TENDER NOTICE
Tenders are invited from reputed Equipment Manufacturers or their Distributors/Dealers to
supply, install and commission Interactive Projectors and standard whiteboards on a
turnkey basis as per the specifications given in the tender document.
The tender document can be obtained from the Finance Office, Maru-a-Pula School, on any
working day during office hours on cash payment or downloaded from the school website:
maruapula.org. The tender document downloaded from the website should be
accompanied with separate tender document fee of P350.00 in cash or bank draft.

Introduction
Maru-a-Pula School has a requirement to replace a number of its aging projectors and standard
whiteboards in selected classrooms. Following extensive research, the most cost effective and best
quality option is to introduce interactive projectors and standard whiteboards as projection surface.
The quantity ordered will be determined by the cost of the individual projector and standard
whiteboard as well as the budget.

invalidate your bid.

This is an electronic tender. Please submit quotes
electronically. Only product brochure/catalogues and
supporting documents which are more than 10 pages shall be
submitted into the indicated Tender Box at the Finance Office.
Manual and faxed bids will not be accepted.

SCHEDULE OF REQUIREMENTS

Projector should be an ultra short throw projector with inbuilt speakers.
Projector
It must provide clear, dynamic images with at least 3000 lumens
brightness, be HD-ready with dual HDMI and USB connectivity. The.
Aspect ratio 4:3 and 16:9 compatible. Input: VGA, S-Video, Composite
A/V input to connect TV output, USB, Output: Audio out, Accessories:
ceiling mount kit, Audio, VGA and USB mini-B cable and USB charger – 3
meter HDMI cable to connect the interactive projector to computer.
Software
Should have Touch functionality – finger touch using an infrared source,
as well as dual interactive and synchronised infrared pen, on any
reasonable surface.
Standard
2000 x 1200 mm non-magnetic whiteboard with aluminium pentray (450

x 35mm). The surface of the board should be durable and compatible
with dry-erase makers and easily cleaned with whiteboard cleaning fluid.
Warranty
The projector and interactive pen should be under WARRANTY for a
period of at least THREE YEARS and the projector lamp must have at least
a 1000 hour/one-year warranty.

General Terms and Conditions
1. Prices should be quoted only for the items which are available in stock and can be supplied
immediately on receipt of order
2. Delivery is required urgently. Tenders should please state the guaranteed delivery period they
can offer
3. Supply that does not meet specifications and requirements will not be accepted
4. Companies to indicate separately and clearly in their technical bids whether each of their
products conforms/does not conform to each parameter in the specification and also the extent
it deviates from specifications.
5. Suppliers must provide the list of important spare parts and accessories with their part number
and costing.

6. Suppliers should have been in the market for at least 3 years and should have satisfied user base
for this equipment.
7. Suppliers should have made a large number of installations in the country in reputed educational
institutions and must have a proven record of excellent after sales support for this system. List of
users must be enclosed.
8. Suppliers must demonstrate the product during technical evaluation if required by the
committee.
9. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.
Payment Terms
Full payment will be made on receipt of a valid invoice once the items have been delivered, installed
and configured and are fully operational to the satisfaction of the School.
