MULTIPLE SENSORS FOR
ZONE CONTROL
Master / Slave sensors for a single zone allow
occupancy sensing at multiple locations. This may
be useful when a single detector does not provide
the required coverage. Proper wiring prevents
one sensor from turning off loads while another
sensor in the same zone detects occupancy.
TYPICAL WIRING CONFIGURATION
WIRING
• Label the low voltage wires with the relay
number (1- 48) at each switch.
• Use only properly color coded, stranded #20
AWG (or larger) wire as listed.
• Low voltage wiring can normally be run without
conduit. However, follow local code requirements... they may differ from the National Electrical Code. Don’t run low voltage wiring in the
same conduit as the power wiring.
