Basic Operation and Programming
All J-VSP Pumps Feature:

Changing Programmed Speeds
Factory Programmed Speeds:
-Low 1200 RPM
-Medium 2300 RPM
-High 3075 (1.5 HP) 3450 (2.5 HP)
TO INCREASE OR DECREASE SPEEDS
1.
Select desired speed.
2. Press Up or Down to change speed in 25 RPM increments.
Five seconds after your last change, the chosen RPM is auto
programmed as the new speed.
Note:
RPM changes and new speed can be
viewed on LCD screen.
Programming the Priming Mode

The J-VSP Priming Mode features completely programmable run time and RPM.
In addition to being used as a Priming Mode, it can be utilized as a specialty timer
period for additional circulation and filtration.
Priming mode can be programmed from 2 to 120 minutes.
Priming mode can be programmed from 600 RPM to 3075 (1.5 HP) or 3450 (2.5 HP)
To Program The Priming Mode
1. Press menu until PRIM shows on display.
2. Press Enter to edit.
3. Press Up and Down to change RPM. When
finished, press Enter.
4. Press Up and Down to change minutes. When
finished, Press Enter. This will return you to the
Main Menu.
Setting Your Clock
1. Press “menu” (twice) until “CLK” appears and press “enter” to set time. Use up
and down arrows to set
the hour, press “enter” again to set minutes and then press “enter” again to set
AM or PM.
2. Press “enter” to accept
3. The LCD screen will quickly flash 3 times to indicate the new setting has been
accepted

Setting Timer Periods
1. Press Menu to go to TMR “timer settings” and press “enter” to change.
2.Timer 1 is factory set to start at 8 am. Use up or down arrows to change. Press
High, Medium, or Low to select the speed of the pump during Timer 1. On the LCD
Screen High is represented by speed “1”, medium by speed “2”, and Low by
speed “3”.
3. Press Enter to move to the stop or end time of Timer 1. Use the up and down
arrows to change the end of Timer 1.
4. Timer 2 will now appear on the LCD Screen. Repeat steps 1 through 3.
5. Timer 3 will now appear but is factory pre-set to OFF. Moving any timer to
midnight will turn that Timer period off. Use the up and down arrows to activate
the time and repeat process 2 and 3 above.
6. Timer 4 is also factory pre-set to “off” but can be activated by using the up and
down arrows.
Remember to select the speed you wish to operate during each timer period by
pressing the High, Medium or Low buttons while still in the Timer Start program .

Configuration Menu
The configuration menu allows you to change factory options for
specific applications

Configuration Menu is displayed by pressing menu until CONF is
displayed (See Above)
To enter the configuration menu, you must press and hold enter for five
seconds.

To escape the configuration menu, you must press the Auto/On/Off
