IQ 1204 Dive Computer Start Guide First Edition Thank you very much for your purchase of the TUSA Dive Computer IQ 1204. The TUSA IQ 1204 is equipped with a very unique solar charging system packed into a compact watch-style diving computer. In addition, the TUSA IQ 1204 offers the world’s first M value warning function exclusive to TUSA. This feature manages the risk of no-decompression dive times in water depths up to 20 m that tend to be ambiguous by taking a safety margin of nitrogen gas pressure in the body. The TUSA IQ 1204 also supports EAN (Enriched Air Nitrox) diving allowing for settings of 21% – 100% EAN (4mix gas available) as well as Free-diving and Gauge Mode. The TUSA IQ 1204 watch features include: world time ( 48 city), alarm, stopwatch, and timer. An exciting new function, using Bluetooth SMART and the downloadable smartphone app, you can transfer the information measured by your dive computer to your smartphone. In addition to being able to record basic log information such as the dive start time, dive time, water depth, and temperature, you can also record diving point location information (on a map), instructor/buddy signature, photos, and more. Note: Before using your new TUSA IQ 1204 diving computer, visit the TUSA website for your user’s manual. It is extremely important to read and fully understand how to operate the computer as well as the dangers, warnings, and precautions. Incorrect usage of the computer may lead to serious injury. On land, the computer calculates atmospheric pressure every 20 sec. and in Dive Mode, the computer calculates water pressure every second. If it is not exposed to light, capacity of secondary battery will be decreased which will disable the functions of the computer. * The Bluetooth® trademark and logo are registered trademarks of Bluetooth SIG, Inc. and are used by Tabata Co.,Ltd. under license.
