CAREFULLY READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE
PROCEEDING WITH ASSEMBLY AND
OPERATION !
The rear window liftgate MUST be secured in the closed
position or damage to top may occur while positioning the
hard top onto the cart. This is a mandatory procedure. It is
highly recommended to purchase the Liftgate Locking Rod to
secure the rear window. QUADRATEC PART #12020.351
LIFTGATE LOCKING ROD INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. The lift gate locking rod must be installed before
the hard top is removed from the jeep. 2. The tail
gate must be opened first,and all bolts securing the
hard top must be removed.
3. Standing behind the jeep, position the locking
rod as shown in fig. # 3 & 4. squeezing the rod and
rear window together, rotate the rod so the yellow
end cap ends up on the outside of the window.
4. Make sure that the yellow caps on the end of the
rod are positioned as shown in fig. # 5
PLACING HARD TOP ON CART
1. Place the hard top on the floor with the back end resting on
the end blocks. As shown in fig 1 & 2
[ The rear window must not contact the end blocks.]
BEFORE PROCEEDING the rear window MUST be locked
or clamped before placing the top into position. YOU CAN
PURCHASE THE OPTIONAL LIFTGATE LOCKING ROD
FROM QUADRATEC MODEL # 12020.351
2. Assistance will be needed to stand behind the hard top and
to ease the top into place, resting on the rear support.
3. Raise the front end of the hardtop and stand it up.

against the end blocks, making sure the top stays centered
