The purpose of this document is to specify the assembly method of the Main
Alarm Panel model 2000.

5. Assembly Procedure
5.1. Assembling the box
5.1.1. Connect the 4 box sides using 8 angles and screws.
Note: verify that the angles flat face is facing the aluminum profile.
Verify that the side profiles front holes are 3.2mm Diameter.
5.1.2. Tighten the screws and debur the sharp edges if needed:

5.1.3. Assemble the frame using 4 angles and set-screws (1/8”x1/8”)

5.1.4. Connect the frame to the box using Phillips screws (cat 0000252). Make
sure the holes for the hinges are on the left.
Note :If the holes aren’t located correctly, drill new 3.2mm holes.

5.2. Assembling the panel front door:
5.2.1. Clean the front Aluminum door with white gasoline (to remove oil for
better adhesion)
5.2.2. Stick a serial number label in the right lower corner.
5.2.3. Stick the suitable polycarbonate sticker on the door’s front – verify no air
bubbles are created. Use a suitable device to enable precise adhesion.
5.2.4. Cut the stickers ends so they don’t stick out of the door ends.
5.2.5. Assembling the electronic boards:
5.2.5.1.Assemble the motherboard (cat. 6326001 ) using 5 plastic spacers (cat
6326008).
Note: Check jumper SW1 configuration in the table below:

5.2.5.2.Place the Slave board (see note ) on top of the motherboard using 4
long spacers (cat 6326007):

5.2.5.3. Tighten them using M4 screws (0000560,0000348) to the door.
Note: Make sure there is no contact between the boards and that the
buttons are not pressed.
5.2.5.4.Connect the 2 boards using the bridge flat cable, cat 6333160.
Note: All flat cable connectors has one connecting orientation !

5.2.6. Assembling the alarm lights Board (Cat. 6326005):
5.2.6.1. Assemble the alarm lights Board/s (one or two) to its place on the
door using 4 Allen M4 screws (cat 0000348) & plastic spacers
(6326008).

5.2.7. Assembling the Power Supply (PS) box (Cat.6326003):
5.2.7.1.Drill two 4mm holes at the box left wall (~85mm from the bottom).
and connect the holding rail ( 6200217 ) using 4mm rivets and flat
washers:

5.3. Assembling the door to the box:
5.3.1. Assemble the hinges (x2) to the frame left side:

5.3.2. Assemble the Aluminum door to the hinges using W 5/32 screws
(Cat.0000294). Check that the door opens freely.
5.3.3. Assembling the door lock :
5.3.3.1.Assemble the floating nut (Cat 0000392) to the aluminum L-bracket
(Cat 3000011)
5.3.3.2.Fixate the L-bracket at its place and drill two 4mm holes (~ 15mm
from the frame ). Connect the bracket using 4mm rivets (Nits).

5.3.3.3.Assemble a long screw (0000487) into the lock and secure it with a
fiber ring (Cat 3000024).

5.3.3.4.Assemble the handle (Cat 3500138) using a Phillips screw
(Cat.0000500). In cases there isn’t a pre-made hole , drill a 5mm hole
(~15mm above the lock).
5.3.3.5.Stick a “Door Lock” label under the lock screw
Note: Clean the surface with gasoline prior to sticking.

5.3.4. Connect the Motherboard red wire to the +12V contact at the PS box.
Connect the black wire to (-) contact.
5.4. Assembling the back panel (Cat. 3500003 ):
5.4.1. Drill two 4.5mm holes in the back panel (~160mm from the low end)
and assemble the alarms connector board (Cat 6326004) using plastic
spacers (Cat 6200327).Use the small inner set of holes on the board.
Attention: If it’s a 16 alarms box, connect two boards and mark them with
labels 1 & 2 - to avoid cross connection !

5.4.2. Prepare a grounding connection :
5.4.2.1.Drill a 4.5mm hole and remove the coating paint with a special driller
(from the inner side)
(Recommended location: 140mm from bottom, 65mm from left side)

5.4.2.2.Connect the ground screw (0000090) with 2 nuts and 2 spring
washers(inner side) -tighten with an 8mm open spanner. Stick a
grounding label next to it (see picture).
5.4.3. Connect the back panel to the box rear side using 4 rivets
5.4.4. Close the holes in the back with tape –to prevent entrance.
5.4.5. Connect the alarm collector board to the Slave Board by flat cable (Cat
6333170).Note: Make sure to connect the flat cables to the corresponding
boards ( 1 to 1 & 2 to 2 ).
5.4.6. Put a plastic protection sleeve on the red & black wire and secure the flat
cable using a plastic zipper (6200266).
5.4.7. If applicable, connect the door grounding screw to the back grounding.
5.4.8. Assemble the isolation rubbers (Cat. 0000158) on the top side of the box –
SILBERMANN label facing up .

6. Testing
6.1. Connect the PS box to a 220V power supply and verify the that the power on
green LED is on:

6.2. Perform the following tests:
6.2.1. Check all green LEDs are on.
6.2.2. Press the Test button and check that all red LEDs are blinking (the green
ones are off ) and that the audio alarm is activated.
6.2.3. Initiate short circuits for every alarm and check that the corresponding red
LED is activated.
Note: Com 1 activates LED 1 and so on.

7. Packing & Marking
7.1. Put the LEDs stickers according to the work order Gas type – above LED

7.2. Stick a label on the inner back panel containing :

7.3. Fill the form (see appendix) and place it in the box (for later use by installers)
7.4. Pack with carton and attaching nylon

8. Trouble Shooting
8.1. If no LEDs are working – check if the PS box receives power. Check that the PS
is in ON mode.
If a single LED isn't working –check it's assembled correct and that there is no
contact between its legs.
8.2. If a red LED/s is on, check the following (in that sequence):
8.2.1. Alarms connector board
8.2.2. Alarm lights board
8.2.3. Flat cables
8.2.4. Slave/Motherboard .
8.3. If the buzzer is not working , check the following ( in that sequence):
8.3.1. Jumper SW1 in its right position on motherboard
8.3.2. Second jumper exist.
8.3.3. Flat cables
8.3.4. Slave/Motherboard .
