Connecting SHDP Wireless PIR Sensor to the Smart Home
Connecting SHDP Wireless PIR Sensor to the Smart Home System
Please follow the procedure below to connect the SHDM
Door/Window Contact to your Smart Home Security System SHG100
Gateway.
Application Download/Installation – please first make sure your
internet is working correctly. It is recommended your mobile device is
connected to your home Wi-Fi router throughout the app
download/installation system setup.
STEP1
Unpack all the items in the box

Connect the SmartBox to the Internet
Open the Smart-I Protect App on your Smart Device.

First connect the SHG100 Smart Home Gateway to your
Wi-Fi router using the Ethernet cable supplied

The red light indicator will light up and beep twice to
indicate the unit is active, within approx. 30 seconds

Launch the Smart-I Protect app on your mobile device. The
app will now search for the SHG100 Gateway that is
connected to your home Wi-Fi router and retrieve the DID
automatically after approx. 2 mins. Please assign the
SHG100 Gateway with your preferred system name and
enter a default security code '123456' tap to compete the
setup (see screenshot).
Note if the smart box DID/ security code is not retrieved
automatically you can manually enter the smart box DID security
code located on the bottom of the SHG100 Gateway and the
default security code as '123456'. Tap the gateway on the app to
log in (see screen shot). you can now continue with the setup for
cameras, sensors etc.

Tap the entry for your Gateway to open the Status Screen
Please tap the ‘+’ in the top right of the screen to add a device to the
gateway (as indicted below)

Next tap the Motion Sensor section on the Select Device Screen (as
indicated below).
You will then be presented with the following screen
Tap the Pair Button (right icon bottom of the screen as illustrated
above) to initiate pairing process for the SHDP Wireless PIR Sensor

You will now be presented with the following screen
Once the SHDP has paired with your Smart Home Gateway you will be
presented with the following screen
You will now need to remove the small plastic tab that is inserted into
the top of the sensor battery cover (as illustrated on the Smart-I
Protect – Motion Sensor Device Pairing Step 1 of 3 screen) – Note if no
tab is attached please open the battery cover, remove and replace the
battery to initiate the pairing process.
If you receive a failure message please remove the battery cover,
remove one of the batteries, restart the pairing process and re-insert
the battery

You must now enter the Device Name (whatever you wish to call this
camera) and the Location (again whatever you wish to call its location).
Your SHDP Wireless PIR Sensor is now connected.
Once you have entered the details please tap the save button (as
illustrated above)

After approximately 60-90 seconds the PIR will be armed and If you
move the PIR sensor you can test the response (as illustrated below)
Congratulations, you have now paired the Wireless PIR Sensor to your
Smart Home System.
