FALCON PREDATOR MK2 TRANSPONDER IMMOBILISER USER’S MANUAL . ARMING A. Turn ignition off to stop the engine. If no further action is taken (for example: ignition turned on again or door opened) 20 seconds later the system will enter arm (immobiliser is activated) and the LED will flash slowly. INTRODUCTION Thank you for choosing our system. Please follow the user’s manual and installation guide for better understanding and operation of the system. The whole system includes: 1 x control unit 1 x metal box 1 x LED 1 x transponder coil 2 x transponder tags B. If ignition is turned back to on again within 20 seconds after step A, the system will go back to the disarmed condition again. The engine can be started. C. If the door is opened within 20 seconds after step A, the system will arm immediately (immobilisation is activated.) and the LED will flash slowly. C, Place the second TAG near the coil, LED will flash twice to indicate programming confirmation. D. For each transponder tag programmed into the system, the LED will flash a number of times to indicate how many transponder tags are programmed. E. The unit can program five tags in total. F. Switch the ignition off, the system will exit programming mode. G. Each step must be completed in 30 sec, otherwise the system will exit learning mode. NOTE: Each time you enter the tag-programming mode and finish tag coding, the system will exclude all previous programmed transponder tags in the memory. DISARMING INITIATE RANGE TEST A. Open the driver’s door, the transponder coil is automatically activated; this is indicated by the LED flashing at an increased rate. B. Turn ignition on and get the tag close to the transponder coil, the LED will stop flashing and stay on indicating the system has been disarmed. NOTE: Your system will automatically re-arm within twenty seconds of disarming if you do not turn the ignition on. PROGRAM NEW TRANSPONDER TAGS If you need to add new tags or delete lost tags, please follow the instructions below: A, Use the existing tag to disarm system, switch the ignition ON and OFF twice and then turn the ignition back on, all within 7 seconds. Then the LED will flash rapidly to indicate the system has entered tag-programming mode. B, Place the first TAG near the coil, the LED will flash once to indicate programming confirmation. A. Make sure the system is disarmed, then disconnect the power to the system reconect again, the system will enter the “initiate range test” mode for 50 sec. B. Bring one programmed tag near the coil. The coil will read the tag and LED will flash quickly. When it leaves the coil range, the LED will stop flashing. C. After about 50 sec or turning the ignition ON, the system will exit range test mode. (The range is around 10 cm.) Note 1: Do not put tags together when using. Note 2 : If you lose a tag, contact your dealer for replacement tag. Note 3 : This system does not need maintenance. Note 4 : Any alteration of the system will void the approval and the warranty. INSTALLATION GUIDE The system must be installed by a trained installer. The immobilizer system can be installed onto vehicles which have 12V battery powered electrical system. A. Disconnect the negative lead of car battery. B. Make sure that all of the car keys and transponder tags are out of the car. C. Mount the metal box and immobilizer securely in the engine compartment away from any heat source and water spray. D. Fit LED to the dashboard in a visible and accessible place. E. Put transponder coil around the ignition lock cylinder. F. Connect the wires to the vehicle circuits. All of the connections must be soldered and insulated. G. Insert the 10A fuse and reconnect the battery negative lead. H. Test the system. Check if it can be armed and disarmed.
