Duties: Task numbers 1-22, as applicable to location
To produce finished product and pack product to meet customer
specifications.

Carry out SSOW and visual safety checks (check sheet) for relevant
machinery including electric hand truck, (signed off SSOW must be
attached to completed Driving Test).
Complete all company production recording documents / paperwork.
Carry out basic QA checks (dimensions).
Log and summarise basic QA checks.
Have awareness of ISO 9001 / 2008
Ensure correct ink / solvent storage, including difference between
water and solvent based inks.
Use correct safety equipment / PPE.
Keep scrap to a minimum.
Comply with company scrap procedure at all times.
Follow the shutdown procedure – for post printer equipment.
Maintain general housekeeping and hygiene at all times.
Web up FAS equipment.
Follow tape dispenser procedure.
Be able to use manual and powered Pallet Trucks in a safe manner
Follow packing procedure against works order (correct pallet, correct
carton / core, correct stacking and setting stamper).
Change parent reels & tape on all relevant machines.
Start up and stop all relevant machines.
Carry out manual seal strength check / tests.
Pack product to works order.
Comply with generic factors including absenteeism, timekeeping,
housekeeping, performance, quality, team working, overtime
availability, multi-site availability, clean as you go, safety including
knives, suggest improvements.
Comply with Company Handbook.
Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management /
supervision to meet the needs of the business.

A good understanding of both oral &
written English; sufficient for you to work
effectively and safely in the factory.
Understand units of measurement

Blown film extrusion experience.
Previous experience of
manufacturing/production at operator
level.

Previous shift work experience.
