ATS G2110B GPS Collar F in din g Solutio ns. D el i v er i ng Resu l t s. Smaller size and longer life on a timedrelease GPS collar with ATS reliability built in. Now there is a smaller full-featured GPS collar for medium to small animals with the renowned reliability that has made ATS a leader in radio telemetry. The G2110B GPS collars feature a built-in timed drop-off function which allows for a smaller, lighter and longer-life collar design. Timed drop-off, not found on other GPS collar brands of this size, is userprogrammable to count down a desired length of time. By starting the count-down on the day of deployment, you will know exactly when the collar will be dropped off. The collar will also automatically drop off when it reaches the end of its battery life to ensure data retrieval. Up to 8,190 locations, as well as data on animal activity, ambient temperature, mortality, etc. can be stored onboard the unit until the data are off-loaded using Windows® based collar communication software. • Receive Up To 8,190 Animal Locations With One Capture • User-Programmed Timed Drop Off For Assured Collar Retrieval Without Recapturing The Animal • Optimized For Superior Performance Under Forest Canopy • User Defined Sampling Rates Allow You To Collect The Data You Want, When You Want It • Gather Activity, Mortality, And Ambient Temperature Information • Lighter Weight/Smaller Size For Medium-Size Animal Applications The G2110B permits multiple sampling rates and a VHF duty cycle to maximize battery life and data. Its built-in VHF transmitter signals location, the status of the last GPS attempt, mortality, and battery condition. For a GPS collar with reliability you can depend on, choose the G2110B from ATS. Our industry-leading expertise and customer service is delivered by customer service representatives who are fisheries and wildlife biologists with extensive field experience in radio tracking and engineers who regularly spend time in the field. ATS developed the first microprocessor controlled transmitter, we were the first to supply GPS collars to monitor gray wolves, and we set new standards of high sensitivity in receivers. ATS is proud of our international reputation for quality, service, integrity and an unwavering dedication to our mission and customers. Custom Systems ATS designs and manufactures complete systems to meet the unique circumstances and special requirements of most any research project. From our innovative transmitters to custom-engineered receivers, an ATS custom system gets results. Other ATS Products ATS telemetry products include: a full line of implantable and attachable transmitters, state-of-the-art receivers and dataloggers, GPS collars, and antennas. Plus, ATS biologists and engineers routinely provide “concept-to-completion” consulting services to assist customers with every aspect of their telemetry-based research. Large Data Storage Capacity – Stores up to 8,190 locations for later retrieval. Up to one year life depending on sampling rates. Data will remain retrievable even after power is lost. Timed Collar Release – An onboard timer accurately counts down the number of days until release. The timed release feature is programmable by the user. The timer can be initiated on the day of deployment to ensure an accurate release date. Low Battery Release – Collar will automatically drop off when the battery reaches the end of its life. The VHF transmitter operates for at least 30 days after the collar is dropped. This feature will override the timed release. Multiple GPS Sampling Rates Available – Up to three different intervals may be used. Helpful in extending battery life. Standard VHF Beacon Included – VHF transmitter beeps at different rates or patterns to indicate status information to the user (i.e., status of last GPS attempt, mortality, low battery, activity, etc.). Windows® Based Collar Communication Software Included – Software is used to off-load the collar’s stored GPS locations (either Lat/Lon or UTM coordinates) and to access its programmable features. Compatible with Windows® 98, NT, 2000, XP and Vista. Activity Sensor Included – Keeps cumulative count of tilt switch movements since the last GPS coordinate was recorded. Mortality Sensor Included – Allows the researcher to know when the animal has not moved within a user-defined time period. Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Included – Records external temperature each time a GPS location is acquired, accurate to ±2 degrees Celsius with resolution to a sixteenth of a degree. VHF Transmitter Duty Cycles Available – Turning off the VHF transmitter during periods when it will not be monitored saves power, enabling longer GPS battery life and more data. GPS Engine – Trimble’s 12-channel LassenTM SQ with FirstGPSTM architecture for high quality coordinates.
