WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

1. The car seat can be cleaned using lukewarm water and soap. Do not use aggressive cleaners like abrasives or thinner.

2. The cover should be washed by hand at a maximum temperature of 30 C. Do not put in the dryer, just airing it.

3. The plastic parts can be cleaned by using a wettish drapery. Please, do not use any solvate.

INSTALLATION OF THE CAR SEAT

“Group 0” /from birth to 9kgs./

Step 1. For Group 0, the car seat must only be used in the most reclined position (see fig. 1/а). The car seat must never be used in any other position (fig. 1/b). To adjust the reclining position of the safety seat pull the red handle (J) forward until the most recline forward position. Take off the basic wedge and change the position as the picture position, then press it inside with a “click”. The basic wedge must be in position B when used rearward facing. (fig. 2)

Step 2. The car seat must always be placed in rear facing position (fig.3). If your car has an airbag on the Passenger seat the car seat must only be used on the rear seats in the vehicle (fig. 1/с).

Step 3. Secure the car seat onto the car seats using the car seat belts (see fig. 3).

Step 4. Pass the lap part of the seat belt under the base of the car seat into the two points marked by a blue label (А) and fasten the clip to the corresponding buckle (М).

Step 5. Pass the upper diagonal part of the belt in the metallic buckle (В).

Step 6. Take the red Lock-off clip (D) and attach it to the shoulder belt directly above the buckle (fig. 4).

Step 7. Make sure that the belt is not twisted and strongly tightened before the Lock-off clip is attached.

INSTALLATION OF THE CAR SEAT

“Group I” /from 9 to 18kgs./

Step 1. The basic wedge must be in position A when placed the car seat in forward facing position.

Step 2. Place the car seat in forward facing position on either the passenger or rear seat of the vehicle by using the 3 point belt system which is installed in the car.

Step 3. Pass the 3 point belt system (lap and shoulder belt) through the red marked openings (fig. 4)

(К1 and К2) and through the upper metallic guide. Fasten the buckle (М) in the lock until “click” is heard. (fig.5)

Step 4. At the same time the lap belt is pulled through the two plastic openings (fig. 4).

Step 5. Place and fasten the red Lock-off clip (D) on the shoulder belt directly above the buckle (fig. 5).

IMPORTANT – DO NOT USE THE CAR SEAT IN FORWARD FACING POSITION BEFORE THE

CHILD’S WEIGHT EXCEEDS 9kgs.

WARNING:

The forward facing position in Group I can only be done if the child has reached a weight over 9 kgs.

The car seat can be placed on the front passenger seat of the car by using the lap and diagonal belt and there is no air bag. Do not use any load bearing contact points other than those described in the instruction and marked on the car seat.

Securing your child into the car seat:

- Place the child into the car seat and position the attached safety harnesses.

- Fasten the buckle (G) by joining the two parts of the belt (Е and F) together until a “click” is heard

(fig. 6/а). To strongly tighten the safety harness the car seat is equipped with a central belt system

(Н): it means that, if you pull on the belt on the front the harness system is tightened. To lose the belt just press the metallic button with one hand and with the other hand simultaneously pull on the harness system towards you. (fig. 6b)

- Make sure that the harness system is not twisted or jammed somewhere.

ALTERING THE POSITION OF THE

HARNESS SYSTEM DEPENDING ON

YOUR CHILD’S WEIGHT

- On the back of the car seat there are three pairs of openings which can be used to adjust the position of the safety belt system to suit your child’s weight (fig. 7/а).

- The lower openings are suitable for children up to a weight of 6 kgs.

- The middle openings are suitable for children with weight from 6 to 12 kgs.

- The upper openings are suitable for children with weight from 12 to 18 kgs.

- The pairs of openings should not be lower than the child’s shoulders when the child sits in the car seat (fig. 7/а).

- To change the position of the safety belt you must separate it from the connection component (L) which is placed on the back side of the car seat (fig. 7/b).

- Pass the safety belt through the required openings and join it at the connection component (L).

- Make sure that the harness system is not twisted or jammed somewhere.
