Set up and configuration for TS (Remote desktop) from IPhone and IPAD
Prerequisite:
Server internal IP address e.g. 192.168.1.200 (if plan to connect within LAN).
External IP address or name of DDNS (if plan to connect outside).
Port number, default is 3389.
Username and password.
Live Connection to the Internet (Wi-Fi or 3G).
Set up and configuration:
For IOS 4.3.3 or above (IPAD, IPAD2, IPHONE 3, 4/S)
Go to App store
At the search box, type “rdp”.
“Wyse PocketCloud” and “2X client” are recommended free apps. Tap “INSTALL” to install either one or
both.
Icons will be on home screen after the installation.
2X Client RDP
Tap on 2X Client RDP icon to start.
To add a new connection, tap
Tap on RDP Connection
At Alias type server name
At Address type External IP address or DDNS (if plan to connect from outside), type Internal IP, (if plan
to connect within office)
Leave the port number as default
At Username and Password type in your username and password
Other settings leave as default
Then tap Save
To change connection setting, such as name, IP address, username or password, tap on the
save any changes.
To add a new connection tap
To delete this connection, tap on “Edit”

To connect to server, Tap on “server”
After log on to the sever, a tool bar will be located at the bottom.

to bring out the mouse mode
This mouse can simulate left and right mouse button and as well as an on-screen keyboard

A. Tap on the screen or use multi-touch gesture to zoom or move the screen
B. To drag the mouse
C. Simulate right mouse click
D. Activates the keyboard
E. To show/hide mouse and keyboard icon
Wyse PocketCloud:
On the home screen, tap on PocketCloud icon to start.
Tap on “Advanced users”
Tap
to add a new connection type, and then tap on “Manual Connection”
Choose RDP,
Tap “Nickname” and type server name, and then tap save
Tap “Host” and type External IP address or DDNS (if plan to connect from outside), type Internal IP, (if
plan to connect within office), then tap save
Tap “Username” and “password”, type in your username and password
Then leave other settings as default, then tap “Save” to go back to the connection page
Tap “Connection Settings” if any changes to need to be made for the “server” connection
Tap “Connect” to connect to the server
After connection has been made, a tool bar will be shown at the bottom.
