Overview
MOXA VPort 2140 Video Server, equipped with 4-ch video
input and 4-ch video output (75Ω switch off), image digitizer,
image compressor with Motion-JPEG compression, and web
server with 10/100 Mbps Ethernet/Modem interface, can digi-
tize analog video sources and distribute digital images over a
computer network, turning your CCTV video surveillance system into a “Video over IP” Network System INSTANTLY.
Built-in Web Server for video management and control
MOXA VPort 2140 has a built-in Web Server that gives users
complete management and control of the camera and video
images. In addition to viewing and camera/video settings,
advanced functions, such as VMD (Video Motion Detection),
PTZ camera control, and sequential viewing, are also provided
by VPort 2140. Snapshot images taken by either VMD or
sequential mode can be obtained by email or FTP to inform
users of the status of events.

Integrated Network System Structure
System integrators can use VPort 2140 Video Server to integrate
various functions, such as camera management, video storage,
video recording and playback, VMD (Video Motion Detection), video
interaction with DI/DO devices, etc., over an IP-based network.
Automatic Video Surveillance System via interaction with I/O sensors
and alarms
MOXA VPort 2140 Video Server comes equipped 4 Digital Inputs
and 2 Relay Outputs to connect with sensors and alarms. By using
system software (such as MOXA SoftDVR™ Pro IP Surveillance
Software) or Script Command programming, users can construct
an automatic video surveillance system by setting up the interaction
between cameras and DI/ DO devices.
