Operation
Introduction
A Minerva fire system [ M i n e r v a 8 0 v 1 0 ] is a Minerva 16, 16E or 80 fire alarm panel; or a network of fire panels. The
connected fire panel sends alarm events via its printer port and so limited information is available.
The interface will be unaware of the current panel state when connecting, so the panel(s) should be reset to re-send the
current alarm events.

The panel number, x, is 1 when connecting to panel types 16/16E or 80. When connecting to a networked panel type it can be in the range 1...15.
Alarms
When alarms are generated by the Minerva panel [ M i n e r v a 8 0 v 1 0 ] they are written to the Alarm Object in the standard
format:

Where:
<Device Label> is the Point/Module device label
<Object Label> is the label of the Minerva object in alarm, and has the format:

<Condition> is the label of the current condition of the object in alarm. This text is passed directly from the panel
