The prime funcion of the strain gauge signal conditioner is to convert a dc signal from a strain gauge bridge
(e.g. loadcells or pressure transducers) into a high level
signal.

Trouble shooting
The instrument is provided with a socket, for the possibility
to connect a diagnostic instrument with 17 testpoints.

5. Make a final check by loading at each end of the
roller. Apply 50% load and check that the output gives
you 5V.
4. Apply full load on the loadcells and calibrate pot. P1
until 10V reading on the output terminals.
3. Measure the ouput signal on terminals 11 and 12.
Unload the loadcells and set the ”zero” by pot.
P102. If P102 doesn’t give enough zero adjustment,
increase the SW101.
2. Measure the input signal at zero and full load and
calculate the difference in mV. Set the span on SW1SW3 according to the input selection table.
1. Check the excitation voltage on terminals 3 and 4 to
correspond to the loadcell ratings. Normally 10.0V is
factory set. Adjustable by pot. P101. (Put link LK101
for 6V operation.)

5. Disable the calibration switch.
4. Measure the output signal on terminal 11 and 12.
Adjust P1 until reading 80% on the output terminals.
3. Put the calibration link LK0. Measure the input in mV
and read 80% of max input. Convert it to full load
input and set the span on SW1-3 according to the
input selection table.
2. Mesure the output signal on terminals 11 and 12
with unloaded transducer and set the ”zero” by pot.
P102. If P102 doesn’t give enough zero adjustment,
