Producing printed documents with Océ printers is easy. They’re highly
productive devices that deliver printed sets – ready for finishing.
Imagine the possibilities with a complete solution that produces bound
documents immediately after printing. Now, with the Océ DFS30 tape
binder, tape-bound finished documents are a reality.
You can attach the Océ DFS30 tape binder
to any Océ medium- to high-volume black
& white cutsheet printer. In other words,
you can print and tape-bind sheets in one
simple, convenient operation. The physical
integration of the printer and binder ensures a
smooth, trouble-free process, reducing manual
intervention to an absolute minimum.
Printed letter-size sheets are delivered to the
Océ DFS30, where they are collated into sets.
A cartridge feeds a pre-glued tape strip and
the sheets are aligned and bound by melting
the glue. Bound documents are then neatly
stacked ready for distribution. Card covers can
be added to ensure that professionallooking documents are produced every time.
In addition, you can use flush-cut tabs to
create sections within the document.
Tape strips are available in four colors:
• Black
• Dark blue
• Red
• White
Each cartridge holds 100 strips and loading a
new cartridge takes only a few seconds. What’s
more, with up to 120 sheets (240 pages) in
a document, the tape binder can handle a
variety of applications. User, training and
technical manuals; reports, phone books and
price lists are just a few of the possibilities.
When integrated with an Océ printer, you
can use the Océ DFS30 system to tape-bind
documents or bypass it if you don’t need it.
This level of flexibility enables you to
connect additional finishers like booklet
makers in the future.
All in all, the Océ DFS30 tape binder is quick
to set up and very easy to operate via a simple
control panel.
