Important Safety Instructions
Before using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should always
be observed including the following:
Before first use, check the outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage
stated on the base of the kettle.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
the appliance malfunctions or if it is dropped or damaged. Take the
appliance to a qualified service centre.
To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the kettle
in water or any other liquids.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or contact a hot
surface.
Regularly check the mains cord is still in a good and safe condition.
To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high voltage
appliance on the same circuit.
Do not operate the appliance without water, to avoid damage to the
heating elements.
While the water is boiling, avoid contact with steam from spout until
the kettle has stopped boiling.
Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without
tipping the kettle too fast, as scalding may occur.
Be careful when opening the kettle for refilling whilst hot.
Close supervision is necessary when the item is used near children.

Do not touch the hot surface always use the handle.
The kettle is for household use only and can only be used with the
base provided.
If the kettle is overfilled boiling water may over spill.
This appliance is not infended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
Operation Guide
Before first use it is recommended that you clean the kettle before use by
boiling a full kettle of water twice then discarding the water. Max

To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open lid by
pulling it open to fill to desired level.
Always fill kettle between minimum and maximum marks, too little
water will result in the kettle switching off before the water is boiled.
Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out
of the spout when boiling.
Ensure lid is firmly in place before connecting the power cord to the
outlet.
Press the switch down and the indicator light will light up, kettle will
start to boil, you can switch off the power by lifting the control switch
at any time whilst boiling.
Ensure that the switch is free of obstructions and the lid is firmly
closed.
The kettle will not turn off if the switch is constrained.
Lift the kettle from the power base and then pour water.
The kettle will not re-boil until the switch is pressed down again.
Kettle may be stored on the base when not in use.
Boil Dry Protection
Should you accidentally let the kettle boil without water, the boil dry
protection function will automatically switch the power off. If this occurs
let the kettle cool down before re-boiling.

Care & Cleaning
Clean the appliance after each use.
Unplug the appliance from the outlet and allow it to cool down
completely before cleaning.
Wipe over the outside surface of the head with a damp cloth and
polish it with a dry cloth. |
To prevent loss of gloss do not use chemical, steel, wood abrasives or
cleaners to clean the outside.
Removal of Limescale
Limescale in tap water may cause the kettle interior to discolor, to
remove this buildup use a standard descaler.
Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and the remainder with
water and allow to stand overnight, do not boil.
Empty the solution from the kettle any stains remaining inside spout
can be removed by rubbing a damp cloth. Fill the kettle with clean
water, bring to boil and then discard the water.
Repeat and the kettle will be ready for use.

According to waste of Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE) directive, WEEE should be
separately collected and treated. es
If at any time in future you need to dispose of this product, please do
NOT do so with household waste.
Please send this product to WEEE collecting points where available.
