Secondary Underground Distribution Aluminum XLPE USE

Secondary Underground Distribution Aluminum XLPE USE
FlexGlide™ Mobile Home Feeder AA-8000 - Tri-Rated
Compact Conductor, XLPE Insulated, 600 V
Features
AA-8000 Series aluminum
alloy conductor for increased
flexibility.
Use of lubrication is not
mandatory to install FlexGlide™
conductors in the raceways.
Annealed conductor of AA-8000
aluminum alloy are easy to bend
for increased flexibility and less
springback.
Excellent insulation properties
for sunlight resistant, moisture
resistant, and flame retardant.
Resistant to tear and abrasion.
Suitable for direct burial.
Complete cable is Lead Free and
RoHS compliant.
Used for secondary distribution
and underground service at 600 V
or less.
May be used in ducts or direct
burial.
Application
These cables are designed
to connect mobile homes to
an electrical supply where
permanent wiring is required.
It can also be used for general
purpose wiring in circuits not
exceeding 600 volts.
May be used in wet or dry
locations, installed in conduit,
duct, and directly buried in
earth not exceeding 90 °C and in
accordance with requirements of
the NEC®.
